The overall stay was really good but there was a little disappointment with the attitude and policy of the hotel. We have asked for butter cube and jam on one morning. It was a big surprise to me that room service/restaurant staff asked us to buy breakfast package. I stayed in so many hotels in last 30 - 32 years and never faced such a demand. I can't even imagine that for 2 butter cube and a little quantity of jam a hotel room service/restaurant can ask us to buy breakfast package for 3 persons.

I usually enjoy my stay but I have to say it is the 1st time I stay for more than 3 nights and I find it regrettable that there was a lot of interference with the TV cable so a night staying in watching telly was not an option. As a platinum member I always indicate my preferences which are in my view quite minimal, namely room away from the lifts and no bath. For my 5 ngts stay, my room was directly on the path to the lift so I had all the noises and chatter of passers-by :-(

Although staying for the England v Bulgaria match with added 'bonus' of the Bulgarian side staying there, one disappointing aspect was that the 2 TV's in the room were not working, only on checkout to be advised they are having problems with supplier and number of rooms don't have working TVs. If they had known this would've been nice to be told as trying to explain to a 7yr old was somewhat 'interesting'. Hotel in general was pleasant, sadly hotel bar prices but you know what to expect.

Good friendly staff on reception. Nice welcome easy check in. What let’s the hotel down is its billing system. Staff do not know how and what to capture in terms of expenses. We had lots of problems making the staff understand the half board system. Dinner expenses still went on our bill. The lady working on the bar was poor and impolite. However reception staff handled it well in dealing with my issue. However the bill could not be sorted. Having been dealt with poorly by the bar staff it was disappointing that a tip had been put through without my consent. Poor for a top notch hotel. Having paid for an extra breakfast at reception, the breakfast was put into the room bill as well. This is poor. Staff were unable to to put the bill right, therefore again poorly trained. Would stay again but probably not my first choice.

Good location, modern clean hotel, good bar and restaurant. Reception staff poor. Despite checking in on line, still took an inordinate amount of time to get key. Also, did not ask for credit card, which led to incredible hassle after I signed for a meal in the restaurant (phone calls to room, letters shoved under door doubting my credit). On complaining about this in the morning on check out, staff basically told me it was my fault for not offering my credit card on checking in!

This was my second stay at this hotel. Spacious and well-equipped rooms come standard, and are always reliably clean. Beads are comfortable, with good pillows and bedlinen. Breakfast is served in a light-filled and airy environment. In comparison to other stays I have had in other hotels in London, this is very good value for money.

I loved the hotel - the staff were friendly and very helpful I do suggest you maybe keep a small bottle of body lotion and shampoo for the ladies as travelling with these items can get messy at times

This was a satisfactory stay at Novotel Wembley, but perhaps not quite up to previous high standards. Check in was slow, due to shortage of staff and one of the people in the queue having difficulties. No room upgrade this time, but I got the room I paid for - thanks for popcorn. Room comfortable enough, but no iron, which I only discovered minutes before having to go out to a meeting. Bar staff friendly, but untrained. Breakfast was a little disappointing, - sausages vey low quality, and range of food limited. However, this is still one of the better Novotels, and no doubt I will be back
