« Location excellent; reception staff fabulous; room presentation and cleanliness could have been better - not up to Sebel standard I was expecting. »

Stayed 2 nights; booked the first night through Booking.com (first and last time using that medium) although should have gone directly to the hotel. Then circumstances changed and decided to stay an extra day - booking.com not available for the 2nd night so I rang the hotel directly and booked the 2nd night. I asked to book the first night too (and then would have cancelled Booking.com) however was advised there was no availability (even though I already held a booking for the first night and I felt it could have been an easy swap). Therefore left it at 2 x separate bookings which was a bit annoying. The desk staff on arrival were fabulous - very friendly and efficient. Despite arriving early our apartment was ready and we checked in (Saturday morning) which was great. Dropped our luggage in our room and went exploring. Docklands is an excellent location - quieter than being in the centre of the CBD but easy to get around. A short walk from the hotel to the free tram zone and only 7 quick stops to the CBD makes it really convenient. Same in reverse. Our apartment (2 bedrooms each with king size bed) was a good size and access from elevator handy. Loved the balcony which was also a good size and great to sit and relax. The kitchen was well appointed except there was no coffee/tea/sugar satchels. I could have rung down for them but didn't bother - I grabbed some from housekeeping on day 2. The overall cleanliness however was sub-standard ... mould in the shower recess, 2 x hooks on the back of bathroom door loose and hanging upside down. The black round dining table was wobbly and the curved bench style seats around it needed wiping over - especially the silver railing bits.

Had a one night stay here. Room was an unusual design but certainly clean and comfortable. I was really hoping for a coffee or tea but could not find the cups - checked every cupboard! I'm sure they were there somewhere. Would have been good to have a full container of milk and some better quality tea and coffee.

We had a good stay, facilities and location suited our needs. Just a slight hiccup when checking out that I feel could have been handled better by reception. Basically I wanted to settle the account on my EFT card to avoid the credit card surcharge. When the gentleman on the desk was retrieving my account, he apologized and said he had already processed the credit card and charged the surcharge. He offered compensation of a box of chocolates then continued to say it was his mistake. I left reception with the tax invoice, charges on my credit card that I did not want and NO compensation. Although he kept apologizing, I feel he could have refunded my credit card straight away, removed the credit card surcharge and allowed me to pay by EFT. I also feel if he offered a complimentary box of chocolates he could of actually given them to me. I don't normally give negative feedback working in the industry myself, and in no way does this affect my score of the hotel, but I think for training purposes the receptionist could use this as a learning tool on ways to better manage that situation. As I said, the hotel was perfect for our needs, had all the facilities we expected, it was clean and the location is great - defiantly recommend your hotel for future stays. Thanks again

Would of been good if we got a better view being our wedding night and all plus I couldn’t go to the toilet because there was no light in both bathrooms at like 2-3 in the morning until 7:30am it got fixed.

Great location and lovely apartments. Only downfall was probably the size of the balcony. We had a 2 bedroom apartment and the balcony had 2 chairs and a small table you never would have got anything else out there. The door for the parking was a bit of a challenge luckily there were 3 of us otherwise you would have to exit the car to open

« Good position, good staff but room dissapointing »

Check in and parking were excellent and very efficient. Our room though was disappointing. Lounge area was good but maybe someone should have mentioned that the be bed is only 200mm max from the window glass, in fact the curtain touches the bed and makes it hard to get past unless you want to high jump over it.(not possible with my dodgy knees). I took it in good humour but was not impressed. Everything else was as we expect from Accor. We are Accorplus Members and have been for along time. In fact staying in Goulburn this Friday night and was in Bali in September. So to sum up disappointed we got probably the worst room in the hotel.

Our experience was extremely satisfying. On our way to arrive we received a phone to say that the room we had booked had a small drama so we had to be relocated to a different style of room for the night. We weren't happy with that relocation and wanted to move back to the hotel style rooms that we had paid for. The staff couldn't do enough to accommodate us and moved us back to a better room and help us move our stuff etc. The staff were extremely polite, helpful and I would definitely recommend anyone to stay at this hotel. The facilities are excellent and the feel was modern and classy. Great job guys and thanks for giving us a wonderful experience.

It’s always about the little things. The apartment did not have bread and butter plates, you provide tea and coffee and sugar , but salt and pepper would make a big difference. The ice trays should be filled so at least they are ready after the days outing. Also the milk provided should be in larger mls.

We checked in late, had a bottle of wine on arrival & breakfast included in our reservation- everything was easy. The room was clean & had everything we needed, the only fault would have been the design of the sliding door into the bedroom, as it blocked the cupboard when opened. We stayed 3 nights, we loved the pool & spa & the restaurant where breakfast was served was nice, lovely friendly staff.

« Modern, comfortable & good location close to transport into the cbd. »

The room was new, modern with excellent facilities. It is situated in a quiet area of Docklands and although it is further out there is a tram stop within minutes. We only stayed overnight but there appeared to be a number of attractions nearby such as outlet shopping centre & numerous eateries. Breakfast was adequate at the cafe next door but other options were nearby.

Have used before as the location is perfect for my needs while visiting family. As before, the apartment was well appointed, clean and the building has good access & security. However, unlike before, the stay was marred by some very poor housekeeping. Towels & toiletries either not changed, or replaced, or on one day, missing altogether! An item of clothing also went missing (pyjamas), presumably scooped up with the sheets, but they were never returned and the staff at reception failed to take sufficient interest! Obviously, there's no value in pyjamas - but it could have been more serious - and should have been returned or replaced!

« Some issues with maintenance that needed attention and outside noise which disturbed our sleep. »

While happy with the position and the response of the staff on the whole, we did have a few issues. The most significant one was the noise from the nearby restaurant with belly dancing. This is a problem and when I rang to inquire at reception (at 12:15 a.m.!) where the noise was coming from. the phone was promptly hung up, with no explanation. We had two of the four nights of our stay quite compromised by this. We had been told by Flight Centre that the hotel had been refurbished which was certainly not our experience. Again the staff we talked to during the day were professional and accommodating.
