« Value for money but wont be back »

Upon arrival I requested parking and was informed they did not own the parking and shared it with others in the building. The instructions on the counter that it was in the street behind us were very vague. Room was clean but the shower had mould all over the tiles, i wonder how long since the walls had been scrubbed. After leaving for work the next day my parking ticked scanned at $49 which I paid and then phoned the hotel to ask why it was so expensive and the man on the desk told me there was nothing they could do about it as it was a private car park and they did not get any discount. When I went to check out on day two the lady on the desk asked if I had parked and handed me a discount voucher ticket of 30%. Why was I not informed on check in and why was I not informed when I phoned on the previous day to query the price. It seems to me the staff have no idea or there is something underhanded going on that they would not inform the guests!!!!! you can hear the guests on the floors above you walking around and TV's and talking through the walls. One thing, the hotel is good value for money if your on a budget, don't need parking and is in a good location, close to the markets and Chinatown!

Car Parking was easy and reasonably priced, location was excellent, so close to Tram stop and markers, rooms are well equipped and clean, staff helpful and pleasant, and Breakfast was included - Bonus, all in all we had a great stay

« our stay was very good »

i have no complaints about the stay, however after we checked out the hotel called us to say that they had made a mistake in the amount charged to us and we needed to pay another $26 for breakfast. I told them we asked 2 staff members about the charge for breakfast and we were told that it was included in the price. I was very annoyed and went back to the hotel to pay.

« Great central location »

Great stay, staff were helpful especially the staff at breakfast. Rooms were pleasant and bedding clean however shower could have been cleaner, although it worked great and was very powerful! Used the toilet on the 9th floor and it was unsatisfactory, very dirty with tissues lying around. Breakfast was good and as mentioned above the staff were lovely. Overall a very good stay.

We have stayed here a number of times and provided feedback previously. The staff are excellent and so too is the location of the hotel. As previously described the hotel and rooms are overdue for some remedial work much of which is cosmetic and much is of more meaningful need of attention. So many "dings" in the paint finish that would not require a lot of work to provide a much better appearance. So much is in initial appearance. Sadly nothing has been done.

« Very impressed with my room. It was clean and functional. »

I booked this hotel after my friends (who stayed next door!) booked the accommodation. I was worried about my room, mostly due to the price (so cheap!). But once I arrived, I was pleasantly surprised. My room was very clean and a great size, especially for one person. I LOVE the fact it has a fully functional kitchenette. The shower is also a great size! Housekeeping were fantastic, although not consistent. I was left extra towels (at my request) on a daily basis -mostly because the shower water leaks over the floor (no big deal). Some days my room was cleaned as if I was arriving for the first day; other days it was just a very quick tidy up. The only thing I can fault; the room service wasn't that great. I wish I had ordered uber eats! The kitchenette could do with a smaller cutting knife. It's a bit hard to cut smaller things with that giant knife! The staff were fantastic; very efficient and super friendly! I will definitely be back! I love Melbourne!

Nothing out the ordinary. Very cramped public areas ... more like an IBIS. On check-out I was brusquely informed by JOE that Le Club Accor points were not available when booked thru a third party ... Who knew ?? It was the only way to get a room, as going direct to hotel showed unavailable for this date. His lack of flexibility & the “lecturing” style (i.e. talking down) to me , the customer does not endear me to increase ACCOR patronage
