We always stay at The Mecure Therry Street when we come to Melbourne each year for a mini break. It is affordable and has central location to city, trams and Queen Vic Markets. Staff are always accommodating, friendly and professional. Breakfast is fantastic. Rooms are spotless and always have yummy welcome gifts. The only negatives, the rooms aren't sound proof so can be quite noisy and the Hotel itself is looking very tired and needs a makeover.

We really enjoyed our stay at Mecure Therry St. Our experience was great from the first phone call I made to enquire about the rooms, porta cot availability and parking right through to departing. All the staff were friendly and helpful. The email we received a couple of days prior to arriving was great and full of useful information, particularly the parking which allowed us to park straight away before checking in. Our room was spacious enough even with a porta cot in it, the room was very clean and we loved that the bathroom was spacious particularly the shower size and good water pressure! We also enjoyed the location, close to everything we needed. We will stay again in the future for sure. Thankyou.

Normal stay but under Mercure standard. For the studio queen room, we did not get toothbrushes or slippers, it was only for the privilege room. Very disappointing for us. The breakfast was less of choices. The good thing was only the friendly staffs.

« Nice Weekend in the city with my youngest child »

We arrived on Saturday at around 1:15pm and was able to check in early. Check in was easy and smooth. Our room was on Level 9 close to the dining room where the buffet breakfast is (very handy in the morning). We were also near an emergency exit and on the second night heard a lot of noise (like people moving chairs and tables or a heavy trolley) just outside our door. Going into the room you walk past the kitchen which had enough crockery and cutlery for 2 people, a toaster, a kettle, a microwave, a 2 burner electric stove, a frying pan, a pot and dishwashing liquid, towel and dishcloth. I didn’t cook but the microwave, plates and bowl were great for preparing and plating up lunch/dinner. The room looked like the photos and we were also given welcome gifts - water bottles, chips and biscuits which was a nice touch. The beds were comfortable, the bathroom had everything we needed. The window was locked on our first night but I asked a cleaner to open it on the Sunday and we were able to have a slight open window for the second night. Check out like check in was very easy. Thank you for such a nice and relaxing stay.
