Poor experience; not even water in the room

My first time staying in a hotel with a dog. Called the reception before making my reservation and asked how it was done, requirements... Was informed it should be a small dog, with vaccinations report and that it should not be left alone in the room or else the room keeper would not clean room. That's what was told me. Upon checking in, there's a extra daily charge for the pet. I think it was dishonest of the person who talked to me before making reservation, explained everything except the extra cost.

Good experience but with problems with kitchen

The hotel is comfortable and staff is nice. However, this is the second time I was hosted in the hotel and the second time where kitchen and elevator had problems. The meal took one hour to be done and the staff is not well prepared to handle this situation. Their answer was that there was only person in the kitchen and there were lot of people in the hall. The elevator had issues too and I couldn't leave the luggage in the room because elevator was not running. In the first time I was hosted there, the elevator stopped working while I was inside!

Lack of options to drink on restaurant. No small wine bottles available, few beer brands, few food options, and the service is a little bit slow. Elevator too noisy, do not accept a room near the elevator unless they disable that loud and useless beep.

The staff were excellent - a very friendly, helpful environment, especially as I have zero Portuguese. The food was good, the environment classy. The lifts were a bit strange, having to use the room card to get them to go - not sure I really got that bit. Would definitely stay here again.
