Well located hotel with a very helpful, friendly, professional, hard working and lovely staff. Our room was new, the internet was very fast and I would gladly come back whenever travelling again to Rio for business or tourism. 9/10 because the breakfast was not as good as we had expected. Since Ibis had just implemented a new coffee machine when we were there, this might have improved in the meantime.

I have stayed here 3 times before, for the price it is great value. Paid USD7.50 or 25BRL for breakfast each time which was fine. Great location next to Cantagalo Metro station and situated in the midst of Copacabana and Ipanema beaches. You are surrounded by a range of cafes/restaurants. A Japanese restaurant is 100 metres away :)

Very good stay. Good service. Good location. Breakfast was more less. The cost is so good. The service of reception is fast and clear. I intend to stay here another times. And de cleanliness is good too.

I stayed 10 nights at the hotel. The room 1564 was very quiet and comfortable. Breakfast has improved with the addition of fresh squeezed orange juice. I enjoyed my stay.

My stay was great, despite the two elevators being broken during Carnaval. My complaint is with customer service before the stay, being incapable of responding to emails, phone calls, etc. The Accor/IBIS family may have lost a loyal customer after these experiences.

« Food Poisoning. »

My fiancée and I arrived at night. We had a nice dinner at the bar downstairs and enjoyed the friendly bartenders. In the morning we had the breakfast buffet. Within a few hours we both suffered severe food poisoning and were vomiting for the rest of the day. It took two more days to fully recover. In addition, the bed was terribly uncomfortable and the walls were paper-thin. This was an awful experience. The only positive was the friendly staff.
