« A restful stay with friendly staff at a great location. »

I enjoyed my week long visit at the hotel. I stayed on my preferred floor (16th). Staff were friendly and breakfast was good. Will return again in 2 months.

I stayed several times at the Copacabana Posto 5 Ibis Hotel, and it was my best visit. The crew was very good and all the services of the Hotel, but I've not received my invoice yet. Sometimes in the Accor Hotels it happens and in other situation the hotels made some mistakes with the invoice. Please, pay attention.

The staying was good! The hotel have great rooms and a good location, good AC and breakfast. I just wondered how could no one at the staff team be able to speak english in such a touristic city as Rio, and I wish the cleaners was better. Everyday I had a different issue with the clean, or they forgot to put new towels, vacuum the sand in the floor, put new soap and paper toilet in the bathroom but capable to ruin my overall experience.

Great location just a short walk to the beach, shops and restaurants. Uber and Taxis at your door if you want to explore other areas of Rio. Great staff, helpful and polite. Room at rear of hotel was very quite.

The hotel and staff are just ok. They don't welcome you with a smile and you actually have to wait until staff finish their conversation to be noticed, even when there's no one else around. We payed for a late checkout but we're not told we had to renew the key cards after 12pm, which resulted in me and my friend getting locked in the elevator and we had to ring the emergency bell. Not cool. Basic items like face towels missing in my room. Mattresses were too soft, no bedside table or sockets between twin beds, which was uncomfortable for one of us.

This my third time staying here, chosen for its close location to metro and Copocabana beach. Rooms are what you expect from Ibis, compact and clean. Breakfast was good. Staff quite friendly.

Good location, room is nice, staff mostly nice and welcoming. But the hotel and staff was unprepared for the Réveillon demand, at one day there was no service/cleaning in the room, despite our request and in the other no towels were available. PS: The checkin could involve less paperwork.

Overall fine, carefully managed Ibis hotel. Warm and friendy welcome. Simple, but comfortable rooms. Good breakfast, as an usual costumer I can notice that they are trying to offer more and better choices for breakfast. Maybe due to the fully crowded hotel this last weekend, the internet/wifi quality was poor, certainly it should be improved to support the increasing demand. Hope to be back soon.

Very friendly staff. Hotel is clean and at a good location. My mother had an issue with her safe box and there was a person available at the hotel to fix the issue straight away. The only issue is that 2elevators was not enough for a busy hotel - but it was still manageble. One of the elevators was not working.

Nothing wrong with this hotel. The staff were very helpful, the room clean and comfortable and the aircon worked great. Breakfast was OK. One thing that did annoy me was when they emailed me afterwards asking for my review, they addressed the email to my husband even though it was my booking, on my Accor Hotels account and paid for with my credit card. All a bit 20th century.. My husband isn't even first alphabetically...

I loved the location, the room, the service, and the fabulous, opulent breakfast. The only (minor) issue was the elevator availability, as I was on the 15th floor and at first one of the elevators was disabled, hence it took a while to get up or fown. But this was fixed and then all was fine. The price is so right and the location ideal, 5 minute walk to the beach— would happily stay there again!
