A very convenient hotel for folks travelling to Brussels by Eurostar or Trans Europe trains. It is a hub for city trams, buses and metro. The Grand Place is 3 short stops away. The hotel and rooms are comfortable and quiet. Breakfast is excellent and includes choices for people with the common food allergies/sensitivities. The Bar is small but has facilities for children. The service and staff are excellent. The Mid station is just across the road for a quick getaway. Good value for money

Very friendly reception at the hotel desk, following an upgrade I was accommodated in a suite, excellent, room equipment, facilities and amenities very good, breakfast the two mornings left no desires open, check out once again with very helpful and friendly reception staff; I enjoyed my stay very much and will return the next time I come to Brussels. The staff is very friendly. The room was in a bad condition: headrest fabric peeling away, hairdryer broken, restaurant service so bad I had left before someone could come and take my order (I later realised the only cook was also the only waiter...). In short, a scandal at that price (€163 without breakfast...). Never again

A spacious, bright, modern room which was very quiet. A really pleasant breakfast area, although the breakfast itself was average. Friendly efficient staff. Great location just five minutes walk from Midi train station/metro stop.

« a good hotel for what I needed »

Novotels tend to be clean and efficient and this was no exception. I chose it for proximity to Brussels Midi and to my meeting venue. I got a warm welcome on arrival. The bar stayed open late so I was able to utilise the complimentary drink. The room was spacious for the price. The staff were helpful the next day, calling a taxi and storing my bag. The only small point of criticism is that there were no power sockets by the bed. I left my phone on the desk overnight so that it could recharge. Sadly because it was further away I didn't hear its alarm for a while and was nearly late for my meeting! Apart from that, a positive experience.

We paid a lot of money for only a few hours to rest and we couldn’t event sleep because it was super hot in the room. We called front desk a lot of times and he would say he would fix the air conditioner but never did. I don’t understand why if you are paying for the room, you are not able to control your own air conditioner termostato. Super bad experience!

The staff were friendly and very helpful. The use of an umbrella was greatly appreciated since it rained for the entire time of our stay. The room was spacious. We requested a room away from the elevator and we were given one right next to the elevator. Fortunately, the other visitors were not too noisy. The furniture was a little warn e.g. chairs and headboard. The "Free mini-bar" was a little disappointing - 1 beer, 2 waters and a coke, to be shared between 2 people. For this trip, convenience was the most important thing.
