« A lot of issues in the room »

27°C in the room even when raining outside, not able to set the air conditioning system (could not increase or reduce temperature requested), electric plugs not working (maintenance trying to repair every day, always off after switching on or off the lights...). Toilets making a big noise several times in the middle of the night when filling with water

From the front desk person at check in we were pleased with our stay. The room was clean and spacious. Quiet hotel and felt very safe. Check out was quick and easy. Very close walking distance 5 mins to train station. Easy walk to Grand Place 20 mins. Lots to see along the way.

We had a no-smoking room. Instead the smell of smoking there was horrible. Staff at the front desk called someone to check it out. Then a housekeeper came by, without speaking anything else in english, than just saying ’no smoking’. and left. There was even a small holes in the room, which has came by cigarettes. Luckily we had a air conditioner to make it more fresh to get sleep. Other staff was very kind and place was nice and clean, but that one was a really a shame.

« Great location, staff and hotel but one disappointment »

We booked two rooms, one for ourselves and one for our daughter and granddaughter. We had hoped they would be together, or at least near one another but they were on different floors. This need not have been an insurmountable problem but our card keys stopped us getting between floors - something we had never encountered before. By the time we discovered the problem we had already slept off the journey in each. Could I suggest that people booking rooms together be given rooms on the same floor.

We had a nice stay in a family room at the hotel. Front desk staff was competent and check out was friendly. Room was clean and had good space. Set up of room was perhaps more stylish than functional- need electric plugs next to the bed.

At the arrival the male receptionist was very rude and seemed to be a little bit sarcastic. The room was ok but comparing to other Novotel hotels a little bit tight. Mini bar we had to pay for and the parking was definitely overpriced at €30 per night. Toilet was leaking and constantly stuck of wee. Having stayed at the other Novotel the weekend before, service is not the same. Bar downstairs is tiny and there are no tea spoons for coffee in the morning in the room.

Our hotel is located in front of the international train station and, due to this central situation, having a car park is a big advantage for our customers. The price might seem high but the public car park is more expensive than ours (40 euros). Moreover, we offer the convenience of a secure parking space and a direct access from it to the hotel. « Nice room but rude staff »

Very close to midi, which was easily accessible to the city centre. Room was very nice and spacious We felt some of the staff were rude and judgmental. We arrived at the hotel, to the person on the desk being very judgmental towards us, and acting like we didn’t have a reservation. He then proceed to change once he found that we had a reservation. The cleaner however was very rude. She arrived into our room, knocking very quietly, at 10:10am, despite checkout not being until 12, and asking if we were leaving. This left us feeling very annoyed, as we felt that we were rushed to leave rather than enjoying the hotel.
