I was staying in Room 703. The carpet below the bed is full of dusts, making me to having allergic nose and mild asthmatic attack. I m expected to use the same disposable tooth brush and disposable tea spoon for three days stay in hotel as there is no daily supply of tooth brush. Poor variety of breakfast. Not providing fried omelette or sunny side up is another disappointment! Once we leave hotel, we have to pay RM 3 ringgit for parking at basement. Parking fee is not absorbed by hotel.

The hotel is badly managed under the Mercure brand. The air-con in the corridors leading to the rooms are not turn on. Very warm & stuffy. The breakfast is not palatable and very limited. No welcome drinks for Gold member. Overall experience is not consistent with other Mercure Hotels.

Everything was perfect except for air-conditioning took a while before it gets really cold. Parking is chargeable, Mercure could have consider waiving the charges for its guest, that would helps in overall higher rating as the payment for parking is quite troublesome needing guest to walk to B1 to pay. Breakfast was a little bit disappointing for Mercure standard, as there aren't many choices especially for vegetarian but luckily your chef is able to cook us a special fried kuey teow. Special thanks to Ms Cecelia for the coordination in making both our rooms a honeymoon setup and a complimentary upgrade. It was this little human touch that kept us coming back to your brand to be honest. So please keep it up!

Having allergic rhinitis, got a reaction once entered the room, the furniture are not covered in noticeable dust but i wonder when is the last time the carpets and lazy chair have been vacuumed/cleaned. The firmness of the bed is too soft, it practically sink in the middle, back ache the next morning. The breakfast is good for its value but i would appreciate if there is scramble eggs as part of the western menu, or any eggs other than hardboiled eggs, that's for the nasi-lemak i presume.

Hotel lobby was spacious as what a Mercure brand should be. Room is ok, thanks to the hotel staffs for making us the honeymoon setup with a fruit platters. Mattress is as comfy as always, however the breakfast was disappointing with very limited choices. We have been to few other Mercure overseas and as a comparison, the variety of selection is lacking in Mercure Selayang. Rooftop swimming pool is nicely done, very windy so it's very chilling to be relaxing on top.However, it's missing a pool side bar. Hotel parking is chargeable though at RM3 overnight. It would have been nicer to have a complimentary parking for hotel guests. Overall, it was a good short stay but there isn't any attractions nearby so I would only recommend this to business traveler or those who needed to visit Hospital Selayang.

1. Requested UPPER floor room but give super low (2nd floor). Should informed before checked in. 2. The air conditioning was not cool at all. 3. The toilet roll was not give extra in room as existing almost finished. 4. The room is not quiet as can hear outside noise. 5. The kitchen accessories (finished using by previous client) was not collected which was exactly outside my room since I checked in until checked out.
