I booked the hotel because it has the swimming pool and my prior booking with your hotel chain in Indonesia (Simatupang). My stay was fine but the cost is on the higher side for a city like vadodara.

When we ordered a lemon tea, we were served a Masala Tea with piece of lemon. Then again we have ordered a regular hot tea. your person went away and did not served tea. such service is not expected from such a good hotel

The experience is always very good and for this reason I stay at Grand Mercure Surya Palace every time I am visiting Vadodara. Rooms are spacious and clean. Food is always very good and the spread for breakfast and buffet dinner is very nice with a lot of local and international varieties. The Staff is very welcoming. I would specially like to mention Ms. Riddhi, Ms. Yahyashshree. Both are very courteous and helpful.

« Satisfied but food service in the room should have improved. »

Comfortable and satisfied. I have been staying in Surya since 2010. I have not noticed any improvements upon took over by Grand Mercure. Food menu at the room service is not adequate and lacks variety. Food varieties available in buffet is not available even if ordered. The quantity of food served in the room service is huge and is getting wasted. I think the Management is focusing on bill value rather than on the quantity and wastages.
