Your hotel was clean and pleasant, a needed stopover. The staff were welcoming and the reception area welcoming. My room was warm and comfortable. However overall the premises appeared tired and in need of some TLC, bordering on being “worn out”. In similar circumstances I would stopover again but with so much accomodation within a few kilometres it might be line ball.

Hi, Stayed in Ibis eagle hawk Canberra for two nights from 3/8-5/8 booked 5 rooms. I done full payment from credit card before one week of stay. Find out next day after stay credit card was charged again. Called to find out what happened. Spoken with Kanica and she was very rude and unprofessional saying that I don’t know anything. I asked her to pass msg to manager to call me back. Bad experience. One of the room has no heater working. Went to reception and she gave portable heater saying maintenance will fix next day. The room was $150. For our $150 we got a room that stunk like sewerage, a rock hard bed, moldy shower, broken garbage bins, a lounge that was covered in stains.

I am extremely satisfied I highly recommend to family and friends. The staff are all friendly approachable so quick to attend all my concerns. The price is cheaper and I stayed in a king Room. So quite the area so relaxing the amenities meet my needs during my stay. It was a great experience to my family we will definitely back again there on our next holiday in Canberra.

« Excellent budget accommodation. »

We had a good experience this year (plumbing issues tainted our last stay). The room was in reasonable condition, bedding was comfortable, shower was powerful and hot. We were greeted with a smile at check-in. WiFi was quick. All up an excellent experience for the money.

We stayed in room 160 on 20 & 21, July. The hot shower was not working on 21/7 night and the morning of our check-out date. We made a complaint on 21/7 10pm. Imagine no hot shower when it was 0°C weather!

This place has always been a favourite of ours at this time off the year.My wife and myself stay at Eaglehawk every year at this time to suss out whats happening in Canberra during winter. But this time was a big disappointment.The restrurant and bar was under staffed for the 2 days we were there.We ordered dinner and a bottle of wine at the same time.Dinner came out after about 20 mins which is about normal but no sign of the wine i asked the waiter and he said he forgot he will go and get it ,half through our meal still no wine so i went to the bar and basically got it myself.on saying that the meals are very good and selection of wines is also good. The breakfast selection is very minimal being an IBIS hotel now i expected much better.. To finish off when i was checking out i was overcharged on our stay being a Accor plus member you are entitled for 50% of meals this was not done it took 48hrs after we got home before i got a reply about the mistake and another 48hrs to get back moneies i was overcharged. Ithink we might look at something better next time we visit Canberra.
