It was a very brief stay but overall was happy. Took a little while to work out the Television, turn it on but everything was good. Loved the breakfast.

« A successful stay interstate . . . peaceful. »

Concierge responded graciously to my request to check out alternate rooms- and then choose the original one. Arrived at peak hour so thought traffic noise would be too much. . . then by time if choosing original room about 50 mins later the noise was ok. (Staff have opportunity to point this out on arrival) Breakfast easy Help with directions to Canning St much appreciated.

« Sensational staff and care in an older building »

Jayesh, Sarah and the team on reception together with Anita and the team in the restaurant are just so caring and great. It's an old building where things inevitably and occasionally break down with age. Very understandable. However once reported every effort is made to rectify asap. The staff were great and very accommodating, but the bathroom wasn’t clean properly because the toilet wasn’t clean and the beds were to hard so I didn’t sleep well but apart from that everything else was good.

Both the hotel and the rooms are stark contrast from your photos. Fan in bathroom was so blocked with “dust” it looked absolutely disgusting and the same went for the vent above the toilet. After my first shower, I asked them to send up a fresh bathmat after colour that came up from the floor in the bathroom. Accor is my preference both personally & professionay but this hotel totally missed the mark. Be glad I haven’t posted the photos to TripAdvisor.

« This was the worst hotel I have ever stayed at. »

The hotel was absolutelly shocking. The elevator was slow and didn’t feel safe. The hallway smelt like something had died in the wall. As soon as we got into our room we were disgusted. The bed squeaked every time you so much as moved slightly. The PowerPoint was hanging off the wall under the desk. The lamp didn’t work on one side. The wardrobe door was hanging off the top hinge and when you opened the cupboard door there was water marks and bits of the wall hanging off. There was live exposed wires hanging out which is so dangerous. The carpet was dirty and smelt bad and the room looked as if it hadn’t been cleaned. I have never been so disgusted by the state of a hotel room in my life. I have stayed at mecures all over the world and I have never been so horrified at the state and lack of cleanliness of a hotel. I will never stay here again and will be telling all of my friends not to stay at this atrocity you call a hotel. If we weren’t running late we would have put in a formal complaint with the manager. This was truely disgusting and you should be ashamed to call this a hotel.
