« Beautiful landscape »

First time in this hotel, when we entered the location and walk from lobby until pool area, it’s really nice. Overall we love it, especially the activity in the pool area with good music, maybe dining and barbecue will be awesome. Lack of maintenance for buildings and poor renovation, you need to consider this one. And our ac isn’t work properly, so it’s not cool when we sleep.

« below my expectation »

1. check in delay. i arrived hotel on 13:00 and was told the standard check-in time is 14:00. so i waited in the bar, the room was ready until 14:45. it wasted too much of my time. 2. poor dining expierence. i haved used the restruant 3 times during my stay with my friend. 2nd time i was told no ordering menu in the restruant because of a group activity, only buffet offered. but the buffet was only with 4 kind of food, can not accept. please notice that the hotel is far a way from downtown, it take a lot of time to find somewhere else to avoid starving. the hotel didn't metion this when check-in or in adcance. 3rd time having the dinner in restruant, i wait for 90min for my food. the food is finish until i went to the kitchen to see it done. but there were only 3 tables in the restruant. 3. poor room service. i called the front desk to have a buckle of ice. 30 min nothing come, i called for a second time and wait for another 30min till i get the ice with a vert stange bowl. 4. poor spa arrangemnt. my friend and i make a reservation for the spa in advance. we went to the spa facility on time but the staff told us there was only one room available. which it was the check out date and we both had a flight to catch. can not believe this is a hotel with a brand of accor. it really made my vocation a regret choice. definately will not recomand online and to my friends.

Given a room with smelly and need air freshener. 2nd night room 226 very disturbing and noisy, and no security/hotel personnel try to stop the guest at room 226 from 11pm to 1:30am. Even though front office / security know a group of 10 peoples were coming together entering room 226 Immediately i called security to stop the disturbing noise and ask for sollution. Only at 3am the noise calm. Next morning i ask front office for solution and offered to move to OLD NOT READY suite room. Why not ready, the linen was dirty with paint mark and i asked housekeeping to change the linen (which i found out at 8pm when am back at room). Overall it is bad experience i had with Mercure Tateli

Happy to get upgraded room, the room was so huge. But the problem is the AC, and maybe the problem happened to all rooms, since my friend's room AC also broken.

im a local , i live here in manado. mercure had a lot of improvements. already had a lot of choices of activities, and breakfast is improving. the only things stay the same is the staff. previously i regularly booked by agoda or booking.com, 2 weeks before stayed , i call the receptionist to request junior ocean suite on the 1st floor, and then 3days before stay also i make the called again, and they said that they already assigned me on 1st floor. but when i arrive for check in , everythings has changed abd they said no assignment to the room. and this happened the 3rd time. funny , very unprofessional staff.

« Great time had by all »

We enjoyed our 4 nights. The room was nice, bed comfy, pillows were good. Some very minor issues in the room, it wasnt too much a problem for us however we were asked how our room was so we let guest services know. The issues were fixed promptly. Service is impeccable, staff from restaurant, front of house, grounds, housekeeping were wonderful and made our stay really enjoyable.

« Friendly service but disappointing room quality »

Lobby, concierge, restaurant, housekeeping service was friendly. Food served was delicious, especially the various types of local “sambal”. We were given 1H45 minutes lunch break from the dive Centre. Usually we would have to wait more than 45 minutes or 1 hour for our food to be served. We ended up rushing our lunch just to make it in time back to the dive Centre. We submitted the feedback to the restaurant staff. The restaurant and kitchen crew apologized for the slow service. We were suprised when we received an apology card on our table and we appreciate that our feedback were taken notice by the crews However the room quality was unsatisfying and we didn’t enjoy it room #136: -Air conditioner was not cool despite an engineer was sent to fix the situation -sink area were mouldy -room was changed to #324 Room #324 -same air conditioner issue, not cooling at all. In fact we were sweating while sleeping on both rooms -shower room floor’s gradient wasn’t cemented well and caused flood of stagnant water after every shower.

« Great place to stay. »

I like the renovated room. But the services need to be improved. 1st when i want to check in theres no waiting line so i just stand before the other guest and the reception thought i was just another group of tourist until i asked to check in. When i entered the room the shower towel are not provided so i called the reception. It took like 3 hours until i had to ask the passing by cleaning service for the towel. The room service was just as i expected which is good. The breakfast menu variants is less than last time i stayed. Also i saw the waitress were more polite and friendly to international tourist than local guest.
