Safe comfortable and clean. Lovely breakfast and very pleasant staff. There’s an on-site restaurant also which we didn’t use. Very comfortable bed ensured a good nights sleep with connecting rooms to our children. Ample parking to the front. Perfect package for us after a long days driving!

Room Ok. meal ok but service was very slow. We were woken in the middle of the night by the fire alarm and asked to stand outside in the middle of the night for a lengthy period. As this was a hotel we were surprised that no fire service personnel appeared. We were left wondering if this was a real fire or a system fault. Eventually we were allowed to return to our room without an apology. We were surprised that no reduction of the bill was offered in view of the disturbed night.

We were disappointed that there was nothing suitable for me on the menu and surprised the chef could not do omelettes. The following morning the breakfast was not up to the usual standard with no orange or apple juice available. The fire alarm going off at eleven o’clock (we suspect a g. had been smoking) was not the fault of the staff, and the night manager was brilliant getting people outside.

The location of this hotel, the 24 hour reception and the inclusive breakfast perfectly suit our needs, though this visit we found the staff less than cheerful, admittedly we were checking in late at night, but a smile and a greeting would not have gone amiss. Our allocated room this time was in a different part of the hotel, with low sloping ceilings making the room feel cramped, this and an un-aired, rather damp odour lingering. However, the bed was fine, the compact bathroom has a wonderfully efficient shower, and the self service breakfast buffet is very good.

The room was small, looked not really clean. Ventilator in bathroom made to much noise. Due to roof construction, little headroom. You could not even normally walk around the bed. This was by far the worst and most expensive hotel I have ever slept in Clermont Ferrand. Never again.

Mini room under the roof with sloping walls. Dirty, without light and soap in the bathroom. Does not conform to the standard of IBIS Style ... Last time (last stay in the last year) was much better!

The accommodation was fine. The dinner menu was limited but the food was actually very good. The only downside was the atmosphere in the hotel. The welcome was not very warm, and an occasional smile would have made a big difference!

Unpleasant smell in rooms Did not want to send by postal mail forgotten underwear from my 4 year old daughter. Suggested to drive back (480km!!!) for it! All family members got lice in hair after stay.
