« Great Stay »

Check-in was smooth and both front desk staff remembered our names! The breakfast buffet was well displayed and we enjoyed "cooked to order" eggs. The hotel and rooms were clean and orderly and again the front desk was ready to help us in any way. The staff smiled and greeted us whenever we meet and this is very important when dealing with guests.

The hotel needs painting, the room was clean but it needs renovation. The staff is very slow to request. Breakfast takes longer than usual.

The issues was minor but it still count. We requested Ice for the room which we had to call several times. There was no towels in the room we had to call also for them The shower handle you have to turn off and turn on before you can get hot water. There is a photo on the site i thought there was a pool.

The hotel is nice, looks and feels new. The bed and a/c were good as well. The only issue is that both days when I needed to take a shower there was no hot water.. so that sucked.

« Nice hotel in good location! »

Very nice hotel in the El Cangrejo neighborhood. Panama City isn't very pedestrian-friendly in general, but Novotel is withing walking distance to restaurants and some shops. The area is safe and the overall security is very good. Everything was very clean and the breakfast was great! Breakfast had a lot of variety and different options every day. Cute breakfast room with nice view overlooking the city. Overall would recommend this hotel!

« Dishonesty changed what could have been a perfect stay »

i stayed there three days and thought for the price, everything was adequate and better than expected. However, i noticed that the room service unlike in other hotels did happen much later than usual (meaning after 5pm). after i left, i called the hotel letting them know i left two samsung charges in the room still plugged in to the wall. the managers and supervisors claimed nothing was left in the room. I suspect someone must have taken them and thought nobody would claim them. seems petty but for something that cheap i would have expected some honesty

3 night stay and every night my key was disactivated. When I checked out today, very bad experience. No air conditioning in the reception, my bill was not ready and i had to wait more than 15 minutes to get my invoice. Receptionist was very impolite

Stayed only for one night, and I had to leave pretty early for taking a flight. Hotel is very good, excellent room and seems pretty new. The only unfortunate aspect was that there was no breakfast option in the time I left (before 6 AM).

Clean and comfortable rooms. Beds feel like I’m at home and I love the location of the hotel. The one thing I didn’t like was the cable box which every 30 minutes or so it would shut off. So I couldn’t watch any tv for longer than 30 minutes.
