Receptionist needs to do a better job at informing customer on key cards and usage. Somethings are common sense but some are not obvious. Never told that key card needs to be inserted in room for A/C to function. A/C turned on without the card when I initially got to the room. Turns out the AC unit was not functioning. Stayed in a hot room from 9:30pm when i Checked in until around 1:30am when I was moved to another room. The second room seemed a lot cleaner. The floor in the first suite were dusty. Cable box is placed behind the television where you can’t see the colors Red or Blue which tell you if it’s on or off. Then had to figure out which input the TV should be on. Too many steps. Breakfast staff slow in bringing food out. Empty trays for up to 15 minutes. I was given a voucher for 2 free complimentary drinks. Could not have them the night we checked in because my child was asleep. I figured I would have them before checking out. When I went to redeem the drinks I was told that the bar doesn’t open until 4pm. Wow. Bar in a hotel not open until 4. Nice Hotel a couple small things need to be updated and staff needs to take more pride In their work.

Like stated above, my stay was amazing especially because of the staff. Misael (front desk), Roberto (bar), Marcela (restaurant), Joseil (not sure if this is correct spelling) (front desk), Senor Eric (one of the managers) and many others that I cannot remember their names were fantastic and very attentive. This is my second stay for the year and I chose to stay at Novotel-Panama for my second trip because of the staff. Also, the hotel is very centric and it is a key why I always stay at this hotel. Please convey my sincerest gratitude to the staff for me. Believe me when you mention my name "Senora L." they will know who I am :-) Thanks again. I will definetely stay at your hotel my next trip to my beautiful country, PANAMA! The only problem I have with the hotel is that the lighting in the bathrooms are not that good. You need to upgrade to provide better lighting. Everything else is amazing!

The major issue was the thin walls and noisy refrigerator that kept us up all night. Anytime someone spoke next door they could be heard as if in the room with us and when the room door was closed it was extremely loud. Other issues include hair on a pillow of our freshly made bed, consistently dirty towels, and a broken shower shelf.

Everything was just as I expect from a Novotel and an Accor hotel, which is a good thing for me. Location was most important to me. This hotel is not exactly where everyone needs to be necessarily, but with the metro just a short walk away you can get anywhere you need. Also with Uber being $4 to almost anywhere you can't go wrong. So basically we just used this to explore the city briefly during our 2 night stay. Room was exactly what you'd expect. Amenities as expected. Someone who spoke English was always available if your Spanish is a bit rusty as ours currently is. The short is that yes I would stay here again, great bargain for the price you pay.

The stuff at the counter is very cooperative. My experience at the restaurant was not pleasant, I shared the incident with the personnel at the first floor, who were sympathetic and helped fixing things. When I was checking out I was offered 2000 rewards points as an apology, they never showed in my Accor account.

All well until unexpected charge showed on cc statement

Since no call, email or explanation has been received about this charge it causes distrust. And there are no other easy channels besides using my time to call and/or fill this survey. This time the charge was small but since I have been booking rooms almost every month they could add up so I will be considering other options and will find more difficult to recommend on the future.

The front desk personal were friendly, the room was clean with a great city view. My only complaint would be that there was no one attending the bar and when we asked, we were told someone was coming but never showed up. We ended up going across the street for drinks.
