The stay at Mercure was nothing less than a memorable one. It was good right from the check-in till I checked out. Hotel staffs were courteous. The food I had was of exceptional quality. Rooms were neat & well maintained. Only thing is I could not get to see my preferred channels like Sun TV. I guess it would have been addressed if I had told the reception but I never did coz I came there to stay and not to watch television. So, no complaints as such :)

Uncomfortable pillows, stinking smell in toilet and shower water,average food, open drain at entrance.

Did not like either stay or food or ambience. Could not sleep due to uncomfortable pillows, no hard pillow was made available, stinking smell in water in toilet. Food variety and taste was not good.

I felf humidity was high in the room due to no exhause fan. Also some smells came from air conditioner. Other than above, I satsfied with all servises.

my 3rd or 4th stay at Mercure and this was not very good to be honest. The WIFI kept on throwing me off and I was trying to log in again and agin but of no avail. Hence I gave up. The other issue that you could look at (only if you want to) is VAT on Imported Alcohol. I don't live in Tamil Nadu hence don't know the taxation etc. I was shocked to see VAT of 58% on Corona Beer. Now only if you could display this somewhere, it would help. This was a rude awakening for me.

From the moment we stepped in Hotel till the airport drop every single thing was very well managed, the guest service, the dining area ( really appreciate efforts and service of Ms. Sanita) the other guy from Bhuvaneshwar who was on room service on second shift of 2nd Oct. (forgot his name). All in all was a very pleasant stay and will wish to stay in coming visits to Chennai. Thanks for the courtesy..

This is my 2nd stay in Mercure, Chennai. This time I am accompanied by my life (My Wife). I must say the Hotel Mercure team is one of the best team, I came across so far. Front desk team, Dinning team, Security were highly professional by work, friendly by nature and truly human by heart. Initially, I was a little worried about the checkout day as I will be in office till 4:30 pm, I cannot take her to office and checkout time is 12noon. But, I must say that the front desk team and Madam Manager had solved my problem just like that. I am very much thankful to all of them to make our stay comfortable, happy and memorable. South Indian food was perfect. Stay and customer support team was indeed great. There were plenty of options to eat but North Indian dishes were not at all okay. It was full of tomatoes. Pls hire a North Indian food specialist.
