My experience about Mercure is very good in all things as good reception and treatment. But I have one concern about If you forget anything in hotel after check out and ask any one about this you will receive only one answer NO ( I forget 2 things in hotel reading glasses and shirt )

The stay was satisfactory, but I was so disappointed by the front office employees. I was a repetitive guest for around 2 years, one of the reasons that made me always come back to your hotel was the friendly staff. Too bad this time was one of the worst experience I had ever faced with your reputable hotel. At my arrival they reserved one room instead of 2 rooms, than they forget to add the breakfast, but the worst was when checking out, their was a mistake with the invoice, I had to wait for more than 45 min and the invoice was not fixed. when I asked the front office employee, Naiif, about the delays since I was late on my plane, he got angry and started shouting on me in front of other guests. Therefore I had to leave without my invoice. Tomorrow I coming back to Jeddah with a colleague and I am not sure if I want to reserve at Mercure hotel again. Regards, Joseph L.

The location of the hotel is amazing. It’s very close the main places. I prefer this hotel because of their price and the location. However, they need renovation. Last time, I mentioned something about breakfast. This time I faced that, they have changed and upgraded the breakfast a little bit more. Hopefully, next time it will be better than the previous one. Since I am a frequent visitor to this hotel, I always appreciate the politeness of the staff and smileful welcome at the reception. Housekeeping and cafeteria are maintaining the desired standards. A few minutes to reach the beach on foot adds the charm for staying in this hotel. It would be nice if a few more copies of the daily newspaper (English) are made available although a copy is always available at the entry of cafeteria. I certainly will recommend this hotel to all in general and to my acquaintances in particular.

The bathroom was in a very poor state with rhe door not closing, cracked toilet seat, water going into the dry area while showering and the lighting in the bathroom was appalling to say the least. As a Gold member I expected a warm welcome with a cold drink on arrival and a bowl of fruit in the room. There was absolutely nothing.
