At the second night i got guests so that I dont Have dinner, at 21:05 I call the restaurant to give Me some dinner even Just a little bit cake or something but they said they cant give itu to Me because the restaurant closed at 21:00..

enjoyed the atmosphere, the "heritage" could be felt. Nice restaurant with a culture attaching flair. Friendly personnel. Room was of spacious size, mattress firm and pillows soft enough. to be improved: AC was noisy. Some cleanliness issues in the bathroom.

From the moment our family arrived at the hotel lobby and was served by Ms Shinta until we left the hotel and was taken care by the lovely gentleman at the Concierge Team, we were very pleased with the overall service provided by the whole team at Royal Surakarta Heritage Hotel. A massive gratitude to Ibu Rika who looked after us during our 3 nights stay. You were so patient and definitely are a valued member of the hotel. « Poor maintenance .. »

The room that we stayed was poorly maintained. When we arrived, the room was dusty and floor was dirty. We had to ask twice for mopping the floor. The bathroom also was not cleaned properly. the sink was covered with mold, that I had to brush it myself to clean it. The bed sheets also had stain. The shower room at the pool was also dirty. It was not a very comfortable and enjoyable stay. Despite all of that. The hotel was very unique with all the javaness detail. That was the main reason that we chose the hotel, to give a unique experience to our kids.

I visited this hotel in December. I booked this hotel after watching some great videos etc .But I found this one as average hotel. Even service is very average. Internet speed was pathetic. I used to call at least 2 to 3 times to get some water.

Hotel location is on prime are in Solo. The hotel itself is not new, but seems well maintained. The interior are in Javanese style with many wood ornaments. Unfortunately when I was there, I only get room in inside hotel view. Probably you will get better experience if you have others rooms.

« Boutique hotel with low maintenance and services »

We booked deluxe room in this hotel at Dec 29, 2017 and get room 927. The room equipped with ethnic furniture and lovely bed, also the get good view from window. Cleanliness of room is good except bathroom that has spotted water marks on washbasin. At 22.30 we want to take a bath using bathtub but there is no hot and cold water come out from shower and water tap. After called operator for complain, technician come to room to check on bathroom and hotel water pump. It takes almost half hour until water available, the problem is breaker of pump or heater is down. We waiting for half hour and no hot water come out and water pressure is low. We think that in the midnight water user in low demand, but there is low pressure and no hot water come out. Half hour is not enough to fill half of bathtub. Then we decide to ask for another room to receptionist, and they said another room is full. after half hour they call us to move to another room. They upgrade our room to executive room 502 with bad view (void view) and have two single bed joined to be double bed. We didn't ask for upgrade room, but we just wan't to get room with proper bathroom and available cold and hot water. Hotel staff to solve this problem are very slow, we waiting almost 2 hour in the midnight until they give us another room. Breakfast menu are standard, below our expectation boutique hotel. Food replenishment are very slow, impacted lots of empty food.

In overall, the hotel is good in terms of the location and people who served us during our stay in the royal But i think it would be better if you could improve your sanitation looks a bit dirty ( toilet seat and shower looks uncleaned) and some flies were found flying around the breakfast room and those tea glasses are not cleaned perfectly ( lipstick stain)
