We checked in at a non smoking room at level 924 but the air conditioner was not cool at all, you can barely feel the air coming out.. and the kettle was broke.. it had a crack and the water was leaking out.. we complained and they moved us to level 710 and the air conditioner was better, not as cold as we expected but better.. overall it was a nice experience staying here and the hospitality of the staffs were amazing, but please improve on the air conditioning for the rooms.. thank you..

The room is big and comfortable. The receptionist are kind and attentive. But your cleaning service need to pay attention more. When I got back to my room, your room service only clean up the top sheet. When I open up the top sheet, the sheet below was dirty and not tidy at all. Really disappointed for such a service coming from a 5-star MGallery.

« Potential, but not quite satisfactory »

the hotel has a lot of potential, but there's just so many things to be improved on. The lobby was nice, staff was friendly. Check-in was great. But my Executive room was really really dark, I had trouble putting on make up. and I cant tell between day and night due to no natural sun in the room. AC was not cool enough, I asked engineering to check but never showed up.

Hotel facilities and services really good and okay. But failure in air-conditioner service. Is not really cold. I changed 2 different room for the next day, but result still the same. Please recheck at your centralized air conditioner center. Already informed front desk during the stay, hopefully the management take an action. I am business traveller and politician from Malaysia. Once a month fly to Solo for programmes at Kraton. Before this, i am staying at nearby hotel, which is Novotel Solo. Always bring tourists from Malaysia to join our program at Kraton and staying in the hotel. My group and i planned to choose and stay at Royal Heritage Surakarta on this coming December. Staff at the receptionist was friendly eventough they're lack of smile (female), room spacious was below from our expectation (based on price wise). Air conditioner was broken from the first time we entered the room until evening, but after we complained for the second time, they offer to move to the other room. The second room was quite big and nice. Room temperature is cooler. Breakfast taste was plain and lack of selection. But hotel interior is good, they keep the traditional javanese style. Location in the center of Solo city.

Stay there with my family in oct 2018, I received an welcome email which said that I will receive vip treatment in the room, which not coming until I check out. The room is clean, bed is ok, but we have trouble to charge handphone because there are only two electricity outlet available, 1 at the pantry which we used for warming pot and 1 beside the bed. On the work desk there are no electricity outlet available. The bath room, is also clean, but the amenities are below standard for 5 star hotel. The towel are very thin, but clean. There are no children pool, so my 5 years old kid, seems rather disapointed because he can not play water, although he still can swim with me. The pool itself is very cool at 8 o clock in the morning. Breakfast are below standard for 5 year hotel, actually I hope there are more traditional snack dan menu, which available but not much and seem not made fresh. My wife want to buy some cake since there are 50 persen discount in the night, but after look to the cake, she cancel, she said it look not fresh and there are only few pieces available. The parkir lot in the basement, but there are no access to lobby from the parking lot. Location is good, near the food center, batik center and keraton. The staff at check in and out were very friendly and do fast process. Overall, good hotel but need improvement as 5 star hotel....

« Nice hotel, but too dark in room »

Stay for 2 night. Great hotel, wonderfull service from each person. Beyond my expectation. Everything is fine except the room. I got room 504, which have window inside, so no sunlight at all all day. And it's large room, you put light on side, but the light in middle room not enough. May be you need some lamp or something to bright that part. Also connecting room don't have good insulation, so kid next my room, which is very active at night, and love to dance with music box they bought at day, quite anoying. Otherthing is great. Expecially Duty Manager (I forget his name) and Greater who use traditional soldier dress. Will come back, but don't want in that room.
