I enjoyed my first stay at your hotel thoroughly a few months back. I would have given you 6 stars back then. So much so I decided to return to your hotel and brought with me a strong 12 people entourage, to experience for themselves what seemingly such a wondrous stay I had. My family and I booked 4 rooms to stay at your hotel recently. Prior to that I sent 2 emails to you which was not replied. This time round the experience was a bit dampened on the lingering taste of not being welcomed as well as before. I tend to qualify myself as regular or would be regular especially since I have to visit Taiping regularly since my son is registered at the local boarding school. None the less the Sunday, was not as pleasant as there were knocking from I suspect renovation work at the lower floors. Breakfast was just fine. I made a simple request to the front office representative that I had not received feedback all the way to check out time. In conclusion, I have to be fair to rate you at just satisfied, but its a shame as you have the potential of being great! Thanks, Latt

Great stay! Room clean and comfy, strategic location at city centre with lots of eatery hawker stalls just opposite the hotel, next to Taiping mall. The breakfast is delicious. Will come again.

Overall it was okay, these are points to highlight: 1. Breakfast - very good spread and food was tasty 2. Pool - there were no one to man the pool, so some guests were swimming in their normal clothes which was unhygienic. Stricter rules should be imposed on guests wanting to use the pool facility 3. Front desk at night - it took 10 mins for someone at front desk to answer my call at night. It was around 11.45pm and I was calling to complain about the noisy neighbors I had. 4. Room was badly sound proofed

Would be happier if housekeeping was up to perfection. The used glasses were not washed for 2 consecutive days and even after I made a complaint to the floor manager the glasses were cleaned but stain marks were still there . Hanger left out was not put back into its proper place. Although these are not major problems but would have left a better impression. Thank you for reading this. This was my second visit to the hotel and would love to come back again.

our room was upgrade to suite, and the room was superb. My family and I enjoyed the room and the scenery. Bed and pillow was comfortable. Coffee was superb and the facilities and amenities was same as other 4-5 stars hotel. breakfast selection was just nice but if need a small comment the refill a bit slow but for me it's still acceptable but it's will be good if can be improved. minor delay when we requesting the extra bed and the front receptionist will be nice if they can greet us and have some small chit chat with the customer. for staff I give B as compared to Penang hotel the receptionist was more delightful with the smile and greeting.

This is my second time in Novotel Taiping and I am extremely dissatisfied with the customer service. I booked 2 rooms and one of my room was not ready at 2pm. I had to wait 1 hour to get the key. The front desk also refused to let us check out one hour late initially. We did not get any conpensation for the late check in. After my husband insisted face to face at the front desk, they finally let us check out late. My other room was not cleaned properly, there were food on the scattered on the floor between the twin beds. I think it is also rude when Staff in restaurant asked me to settle my breakfast bill on the middle of our meal. At least they can wait until we were done. Overall very dissatisfied with the customer service.

The staff were friendly and helpful...kudos to nizam and shai.. The downside were... The spoons and mugs inside the room were stained..and that was not the first time i experienced it.. And at the cafe, i ordered mango juice, but it tasted kinda weird....i asked the staff, he said it could be because they added orange juice in it...whatttt??? The kids' club needs to be more appealing to the kids. Other than that, it was a great stay...
