« My stay »

I really enjoyed my stay at grand mercure. However the first room I was assigned too had a very bad smell ... they changed me right away to a different room. It was really nice and fast. A negative point is that they do not have insecticide to mosquitoes which sometimes come inside if we leave the window open.But in general it was a good stay!

« very good service quality »

Staying there was a good experience, mostly when it comes to the comfort of the rooms, nice internet connection, assistance by the hotel personnel for taxi services, etc. however, I did not see or experience the hotel shuttle going to places like malls, airport, which are very commonly offered in most hotels I have stayed. The hotel must include in the overall room price at least a provision for bottled drinking water.

« Ok. Could be better »

The hotel is practical, clean and comfortable BUT little attention to the details. Some evidence below: -I checked in, got the key, went to my room and to my surprise it was just as the previous guests left it (it hadn't been cleaned up. Apparently there was a mistake and "in their system" appeared as ready. -In the restaurant there is little space between tables and the buffet so people bum into each other. The breakfast is supposed to be served until 10am but they start lifting chairs away from tables 20 minutes before. -In the gym there is no specific place to leave used towels

« Friendly Staffs, Need to Improve Work Under Pressure, Cleaning at 10pm! »

First of all I would like to highlight that all staffs from the hotel were friendly and trying the best to please their guests. However every time during breakfast and dinner one busy times, it was a struggle to keep the service smooth. During breakfast plates, glasses, mugs and cutlery was missing. Also to replace food that was finished (such as juice, cheese and bread) it took long. During dinner, it took me 10min just to order the food and another 10 minutes to manage to order the bill. I ordered a galeto a la carte and it was really poorly cooked and raw... really disappointing. I also need to highlight that rooms were being cleaning at 10pm! The noise of the vacuum cleaner it was not nice at that time of the night. Knowing the quality of Grand Mercure hotels, this one in particular did not reach my expectations.

I was very kindly received. The food was very good, although a little bit expensive. Nevertheless, a marvellous stay. The bedrooms was thoroughly cleaned and my clothes were taken care of very nicely.

A tad expensive, but nevertheless a marvelous experience. Great views from the bedroom windows. The food was great, although I missed some variety (particularly speaking). The hotel is in a great location.

I only had one minor mishap and that was the size of the shower and the door did not close completely which allowed the water to leak on to the bathroom floor. Very minor issue, other than that I had an excellent stay and would have no problem recommending the hotel.

This was a plug and play experience. Check-in was quick and effective, room was nicely designed with view overlooking the lake and parque olimpico. Spacious hotel, designed for events. Breakfast was below expectations in terms of food offered, but as the hotel is designed for events, I understand the selections available.

I found the hotel very nice. My only “complaints” are that whenever I tried to call the service desk no one answered and they didn’t restock our coffee at all. Not bad!

Great staff. Pool with an amazing view. Breakfast felt more like a brunch with many choices including: breads, muffins, cakes, yogurts, eggs, sausages, grilled chicken, omelette made by request, juices, coffee, teas... Room and bathroom with good space and very clean. Very confortable bed with various pillows for any preferences.

The room was always clean, your breakfast was very good and that was about all I needed. I thought your scrambled eggs were too runny or not done enough at breakfast and you did not offer a very good meat selection besides bacon. But in general the breakfast was very good. I guess the omelete line was too slow and you should consider having 2 cooks would have been a good idea.

« The Grand Mercure was a great place to stay. »

The bed was very, very comfortable. The bathroom was nice and clean and the shower was great. The food was good...especially the desserts. :) Leonardo and everyone else were very helpful and friendly!
