smooth check-in and out, friendly staff, clean room, nice amenities, everything fine. Unfortunate that the restaurant is not open, and the bar at the Indigo hotel that is referred to instead was not very appealing.

Our room had a horrible smell, it smelled like there was some kind of oil diffiuser being used to mask another henious smell. The air conditioning had a constant rumbling sound that was unrelenting. The room was minuscule compared to how it looked in pictures. Super disappointing stay for the price it cost.

« Very nice Hotel, very well situated, lovely staff, very clean, good air conditioning and NOT noisy !!! »

We loved this hotel very well located looking over Leicester square. It was nice and quite too we had a good nights rest ( it was the weekend and extremely busy outside ) The staff were very nice polite and helpful. The room was very clean tidy and well maintained. Breakfast was good however being British we were expecting a cooked breakfast only to find you had to pay extra for this so we had the continental which we enjoyed very much there was lots on offer ... We would stay here again and would highly recommend this hotel! Book direct with the Hotel it is cheaper as you get 10% off !

Lovely room, small but really well fitted out, and the included extras were very welcome. The one area for improvement would be that it was very hard to find! Perhaps a photo on you website of the front door may help, it is very tucked out of the way.

« Dark , »

This hotel is dark and claustrophobic. It does not give a friendly vibe . Had to have breakfast on the first day at a sister hotel. ( which is the one I wish I had booked much more welcoming) because the shef hadn’t turned in ,that would be funny if it wasn’t so pathetic. When you finally find the entrance to this hotel you Then you have to spot the reception which is basically a shelf . Sitting to one side on a laptop talking to somebody about a Swiss bank account and looking a bit dodgy . I later found out he was the porter / concierge. When you book your room with breakfast be prepared to pay a lot extra if you want anything hot . I wouldn’t recommend you stay here but if you do don’t stay more than two nights as there is very little hanging space for your clothes and no draws in fact there’s no wardrobe.

Our first MGallery. Poor quality property. Might as well stay at a Bnb . No service other than check in. We were upgraded because of our Gold status to a room we considered poor quality. Room was small, bathroom had a industrial rubber floor.

Hotel was fine. However, I did online check-in, with the expectation of receiving an invoice by email. On check-out, I asked for an invoice by email which was confirmed. This invoice has not arrived. I have emailed the hotel requesting an invoice and there has been no response to this email.

« Nice experience but service can be improved »

We enjoyed our stay at Victory House. The room was very nice (thank you for the upgrade), great decoration, A/C performant, a lot of light, nice bed and bathroom. Location is busy but we know it before arriving. The service must be improved. I understand that it's a boutique hotel but it's supposed to be upscale. We never had the turndown service (as mentionned on Accorhotels website in the description of the room). Some of the Front Desk team was ok, some nicer. I mentionned it was my partner's birthday but we didn't get anything or any remark. Also, I sent emails to the concierge but never got an answer as "the concierge manager was off". Alex Dizon took care of my request but never answered my question...Quite disappoiting.

Paid premium for superior room. Allocated room bore little resemblance to that advertised through Expedia. Staff assisted relocation to somewhat better room. Concierge was excellent.

Nice hotel. Nice room. However when we first got to our room, it had pubes in the sink, a bar of soap down the toilet and a half drank bottle of coke in the fridge. Also, your lifts are so annoying! They go up when you tell them to go down, and vice versa!

« Stayed during a London heatwave with no aircon or ventilation in room »

My husband and I stayed for 3 nights and unfortunately the air con in the hotel was not working and it was HOT. Our room was hitting 35 degrees. Staff did all that they could - we were offered a free breakfast after our first night, and a fan and extra bottled water on day 2 when the air con was still out. 2/3 nights that we stayed were without air con or opening windows. The air con was finally fixed for the last night of our stay. On checking out, we were offered a 50% discount for 2 of our nights which was most appreciated. My concern is that there was no ventilation available on the entire floor that we stayed on - no opening windows or doors. While I appreciate that this possibly due to security concerns, the lack of ventilation in this instance was bordering on a Health and Safety issue for guests. After more than 36 hours of travelling time between New Zealand and London, and only having 3 days in London itself, we did not get to experience London as we had hoped due to lack of sleep and general discomfort while in the room itself.

« Comfortable and Classy »

Victory House was a small classy hotel just off the main Leicester Square. It's close to public transit and many restaurants and shops. Our room was clean and comfortable. The concierge Fabian gave us some great advice on places to see, where to eat, and how to optimize our time. We were able to see more of the city due to his suggestions. We appreciated the concierge holding our luggage after we checked out on our last day so that we could explore in the morning without bags prior to going to the airport. Would definitely stay here again.

It is at nice place while not inline with my expectation specially it's located in very nice place and it could be better than the current position. Even the hotel has no outside label to guide us to the hotel gate . It takes from me 1 hour to find the hotel gate while arriving at mid night.

« Loud, confusing check in, poor service »

The hotel is advertised as sound proof but the room was very loud. The check-in experience is confusing and messy; there is not actual check-in desk and clutter all around the small area allotted to the reception. The service was generally below average. I would not stay here again.

Rooms are beautifully appointed & modern. Location is convenient but noisy. Had to change rooms after the first night due to being kept awake all night with drumming outside however staff were very accomodating and found me a quiet room where I could enjoy the rest of my stay.
