2nd time stayed at this hotel and most likely will be the last. This 2nd trip was totally different from the previous trip. First, room condition. Carpet had stain, uncomfortable bed and rooms so 'dark'. Second, breakfast. Used to be variety but now very limited and not good. Third, hotel staff. Asked for late checkout, initially they not allowed even I informed them I'm Silver member. After begging and manager came, they agreed. Locationwise, ok but not perfect.

I have been staying at Novotel Al Dyar for last three years whenever I visit Riyadh for business work. I liked the room modern decor and central location. However, the new staff at the reception needs to be better trained. Breakfast needs to be improved with more options for Vegetarians.

Shabby room and ectremely poor service

During check-in got no recognition as a Gold Member. Got a shabby room #306. 1. The bed was made hastily. 2. The carpet is worn out and dirty 3. The Lamp wires carelessly strewn around. Easy to trip and fall. 4. No welcome amenities in the room 5. No welcome drink 6. Requested to change room but did not happen. 7. No Slippers in the room. Requested for one. The team claimed it is out of stock. Breakfast was decent. Overall a disappointing experience. Will probably avoid this hotel next time.

A Blight on the Flagship

There is nothing to say that is good about my stay other than the bed was comfortable. First, the Garage was filthy and I do not mean dusty, I mean filthy, plastic everywhere. You could not park anywhere except maybe 4 bays with signs written everywhere in Arabic other than the No P sign. The to the Reception, an untrained person at reception with lady hovering and when I asked to speak to the Manager, they put him on the line. When he arrived, I asked him if he inspected his hotel, obviously not as he blamed housekeeping. Then to the booking, payment not taken by the web site even though it asked for my card details. I had to verify that I wanted a NON Smoking even though I wrote it in the booking comments. The room was not ready as they delivered the 'extra water' when I was at the room. Now onto the lifts, stainless steel that had never been cleaned since they were installed with all the damage that construction does. To the room, bed was comfortable and the Shower took about 7 minutes to start getting warm. The toilet was dirty so was the shower stall. The Microwave was also dirty. Would I stay here again, no ways!

I like Novotel Suites Dyar. Its location, rooms, service, staff .... everything is great. There is one little thing I think needs special attention from the hotel which is the exit gate of the garage. It is extremely and badly damaging cars while approaching to the street.

rooms were ok at best and poorly maintained. Breakfast was really disppointing and F&B service nearly unexisting. Gym equipment was poor, if not dangerous. With today hotel choices in Riyadh, even at that price point, I will not come back. Night manager was helpful.

Over all experience was good, my only concern was room cleanness I found be coincidence when I doped something under the bed that there is a lot of garbage under the bed including old cigarette packs & plastic bags among other things

Won't provide higher floor claiming hotel is full when I can still book rooms online from Accor app. Both nights woken up by room service delivering to wrong room. Arrived at breakfast, the milk was finished but there's no stock to refill. Noise of people chatting in the corridor around 2am. Can hear noise from next door.

although the check-in was delayed (i arrive around 4:00 pm) but the overall stay was OK. the only issue Novotel should re consider is the late check-out as most of the other hotels give till 6:00pm without extra charge which is not the case at Novotel.
