the room was ok, the bed was very comfy but the floor was dirty with hair and the bathroom was easily full how water after the shower. the night staff at the reception wasn't welcoming at all. The breakfast was good, the breakfast staff also. The location was good. the gym was very old, enough to workout but very old. Way less welcoming than the other Accor hotels around GCC

Hotel landline doesn't get answered. Tried calling from overseas to advise my arrival time but no answer. Tried calling front desk from room for additional water and supplies, no answer. When I go down to address this, get confronted with a very rude guy at the reception. Housekeeping guy cleans the bathroom with my soiled towel in front of my eyes!! Never coming back here. Never recommending this particular hotel to anyone. Failed to come anywhere close to an accor standard hotel. Infact if i could, I would like a refund.

All male receptionist are so lazy in attaining guests, not presenting on the reception, not answering calls (have to come downstairs to find them). Food is so so so bad in quality, higgledy-piggledy, and no variety... in a summary the worst ever buffet experience in my entire life.

Not so good not as per my expectation from an Accor Hotel. Breakfast/Sahoor need serious improvement. As I took iftar for few days so I observed mostly items in Sahoor are left overs from previous night iftar. Same dishes repetition.

Stay was good however I got smoking room as the hotel was fully booked, But before I arrive to Riyadh I received four calls from the Hotel to confirm if I will come or not, the second or third call as they couldn't charge my Credit card....it was bit annoying.

2nd time stayed at this hotel and most likely will be the last. This 2nd trip was totally different from the previous trip. First, room condition. Carpet had stain, uncomfortable bed and rooms so 'dark'. Second, breakfast. Used to be variety but now very limited and not good. Third, hotel staff. Asked for late checkout, initially they not allowed even I informed them I'm Silver member. After begging and manager came, they agreed. Locationwise, ok but not perfect.

I have been staying at Novotel Al Dyar for last three years whenever I visit Riyadh for business work. I liked the room modern decor and central location. However, the new staff at the reception needs to be better trained. Breakfast needs to be improved with more options for Vegetarians.

Shabby room and ectremely poor service

During check-in got no recognition as a Gold Member. Got a shabby room #306. 1. The bed was made hastily. 2. The carpet is worn out and dirty 3. The Lamp wires carelessly strewn around. Easy to trip and fall. 4. No welcome amenities in the room 5. No welcome drink 6. Requested to change room but did not happen. 7. No Slippers in the room. Requested for one. The team claimed it is out of stock. Breakfast was decent. Overall a disappointing experience. Will probably avoid this hotel next time.
