Dissatisfied. Expected a better class of Hotel. The facade outside of the building was shabby and in poor condition with peeling paint and looking dirty and run down. Inside was slightly better. The Reception area was poorly situated and did not feel comfortable. If you had a more than two people booking in at one time they would have to que in the lift. The room was drab and net curtains dirty. No phone in room. View from Windows awful fire escape and metal nothing else. TV was unwatchable due to interference. Air conditioning not working room was cold. The breakfast buffet was OK but no hot food. We had a depressing drab stay at the Hotel.

For the price we paid our stay was ok, had to get down for breakfast early to get a seat if not had to stand or take to room.

Once we got inside hotel ok. Not the best ibis we ve stayed at. And we ve stayed at many Serious make over needs to be done outside. Exterior very shabby and would be lucky to reach 2star

We were in Blackpool for an annual dance competition. We always stay at the IBIS - inexpensive, great location and lovely atmosphere. The breakfast is better than any of the famous guest houses

Room was basic but very clean Reception staff friendly and helpful. Very central location Negatives: We could only get one channel on the TV Floor of shower took about 30 minutes to drain away. Breakfast area too small for the number of potential residents

The external appearance and access to the first floor reception are not at all encouraging, but our room (101) was a lovely surprise being roomy, comfortable and clean and the staff were friendly and efficient.

I got a room where I couldn’t close the window (it was broken), and the very nice receptionist immediately allocated me a new room. Unfortunately I couldn’t open the window in that room (again, the window was broken) but I just got on with it. You might hear your neighbours. The breakfast was nice with fresh fruits. I liked the shower. Generally the hotel was clean.

Room was dirty, room was very cold, tv didn’t work properly, had to clean windows to appreciate the view, breakfast was very poor, exit to the hotel had extremely poor lighting, our overall stay was not good.

It says continental B. but if you go to the continent you get a choice of meats and cheeses (not cheap ham and bits of chedder). You get the choice of a selection of fruit, including a fruit salad, berries etc. not just s few apples, you get a choice of yoghurts not plain yoghurt with a sugar purée pretending to be fruit. The boiled eggs are warm not cold. A choice of cheap pastries' and cheap sliced bread is also not acceptable. I cannot eat the bread and pastry or cereals so that left me with an apple a slice of ham and a slice of cheese. Think again if you are offering a continental B. either do it properly or not at all. You are an international chain you know how to do this! Stop taking the mickey in the UK.

The room was like sleeping in an igloo. It was freezing cold. We did get the price of one room refunded but I had the worst nights sleep. They told us when we checked out there was a problem with the heating. Perhaps they could of told us that on check in. Not enough space in the dining area for breakfast which meant we had to wait a long time. I would not return.

We arrived at the hotel early in the morning to see if we could store our luggage, the lady on reception was fantastic and let us check in straight away. The room was basic but very clean and the bed was extremely comfortable. The hotel was easy to get to from the train station and its right on the front. We stayed in Blackpool for 2 nights, but for some bizarre reason it wouldn't allow me to book 2 night's online - even though I could have booked one night on either date separately... so we only stayed for one night at this hotel. The only thing that did disappoint me was the breakfast, there was no cooked food available. I feel this should have been made clearer when advertising breakfast included especially when I had factored this in to the price. As much as we love Blackpool the accomodation available is far from 5*, so we were very happy with this hotel.

Check in was simple and quick. Excellent location for all amenities in Blackpool. Rooms were basic but clean. Very little space for clothes as no wardrobe or drawers.
