From our arrival up to departure the team of ladies at reception went over and beyond to ensure our stay was a memorable and pleasant one. Aside from the stained carpets in the room,the room was clean, very spacious and very comfortable with a lovely balcony outside.Alessia and Jessica were fantastic and very kindly gave us tips and reccomendations on best places around and the must do and see.Highly recommend this hotel and will definitely be back. The memorable aspect for my daughter out of all the Accor Mercure hotels we have stayed in was receiving the purple toy octopus. Thank you Girls!

Dear Mister, we reserved 2 rooms in this hotel for the night from 10th August to 11th August. In the first room n°505 (dedicated to my daughter) we forgot an old jacket in Denim. It has been found by the staff. In the other room n°510 (my wife and me), I forgot a "new" Jacket scuderia Ferrari (value of 140€). I call the hotel on Monday morning 13th of august, when I understood the situation, and the man who I called, told me that they not found nothing in the room 510. It's just impossible and unacceptable. I am sure of what I let in the closet. Maybe your staff does not control correctly the room, or others... I am a very good customer (platinum) and I travel regularly and exclusively within Accor hotels for my professional activity. I trusted in your group until now. I hope that you will understand the situation and that you will propose a solution to me. Otherwise I will communicate this incident, and I will stop to go through your hotels. Many thanks for your understanding and reply.

First time on this hotel. We were given a very nice room but unfortunately we were extremely unlucky with the guest staying on the rooms around ours. The noise of people talking, TVs, doors slammed etc was unbearable and went well past midnight. I spoke to the staff at the reception who immediately solved our problem by giving us another room on another level. All the staff we met was absolutely brilliant and made our stay very enjoyable. Well done!!

Stayed here for one night on July 25, 2018. I was assigned a room I believe in the older part of the hotel which is right across from the registration desk, registration was easy, no issues there. Room seemed nice and comfortable when we checked in in the afternoon, however, when we came back after a stroll in town, room smelled like sewer had overflowed. Both my rooms had a terrible sewer smell. Air conditioners were not working either, it was hot and humid and my family was sweating in the heat. Contacting the staff, they kept telling me that they will lower the temperature, but nothing happened. Luckily we were just staying for a night. Thank god. Based on my experience, I wont suggest any one to stay here.

I cannot recommend this hotel highly enough. The staff are all exceptionally friendly, helpful and patient. They do what that can to make your stay as pleasant and stress free as possible. The hotel's location is close to the main train station and well positioned to walk to the main tourist sites. I enjoyed my stay and would definitely book again.

« Disappointing arrival experience - overall a less favorable experience compared other Mercure at a global level »

On my arrival I stood in the check-in priority lane, being an Accor Platinum member, and was rather surprised / unhappy to see other customers who arrived after me, and who stood in the non-priority area, being attended to before me. When I made my reservation, as well as when I checked-in online, I had specified an early arrival, before 12.00 pm, yet I had to wait an hour for my room to be ready, which was totally inconvenient as I needed to connect online and carry out business calls. At check-in, staff seemed to be totally unaware of what does an online check-in mean, and were asking yet again for a print of my credit card, even though this was unnecessary given the fact that I had fully checked in online. I found myself having to produce the check-in confirmation e-mail and explain that handing in my credit card details was no longer required

The staff was very nice and friendly. The rooms were nice (bed a little hard). Close to the train station and everywhere. The only negative which is out of the hotel's control is the peddlers just outside the hotel which can be a nuisance.

great location and excellent breakfast. However we had a room that was really aconverted attic on the 5th floor. When we arrived it was about 90 degrees. It took 4 hours to cool off. When we complained we were told all the rooms were filled...sorry. The windows are more like skylights in the roof. terrible room and not much empathy from the girl at the front desk

« The expected Accor group high standard. »

Extremely enjoyable stay. Whenever I travel I always use Accor Group properties and am privileged in being the proud owner of a Platinum loyalty card. This is a really nice property with a perfect location for exploring the historical sites of Florence. I found the staff to be extremely pleasant and willing to please any requests made. Special mention to Martina who put up with our little group in the bar over most of our 7 night stay. Breakfast staff also very professional in ensuring that the excellent buffet on offer was constantly topped up and that tables were swiftly cleared. Reception staff extremely helpful in responding to all requests made and finally, a big thanks to the chambermaids for keeping my room in perfect order. My only comment on the rooms, is that I always hung my bath towel up for re-use but this was changed daily. All in all a great stay and in full accordance with my expectations of Accor Group properties, which in my view is a leading hotel brand offering luxury at Sofitel level down to budget level at Ibis properties.

Near train and bus stations but also convenient for main attractions, the hotel staff really good, especially young lady on bar and breakfast staff. Not as good as other Mercure hotels. We were not happy with paper cups for coffee in rooms, nor a shower that badly needed regrouting and resealing. Food at breakfast was fine with a reasonable choice.

Not happy with plastic and paper breakers for tea/coffee! Not very environmentally friendly and expect better standard from Mercure. Shower needs attention as grouting and sealant dirty. Breakfast very good. Bar very pleasant. Staff excellent, especially young lady in bar and staff at breakfast.

It is exactly for the environment Accor project that I use cups in recyclable paper and wooden sticks, as some other hotels do in Italy. I regret you did not like it, but upon request we provide porcelain cups. Regarding the shower we have already taken the appropriate measures, in order to avoid it in the future. The hotel was new and clean. We felt safe and enjoyed our stay. However, the staff on duty on 9 June (around 9pm) wasn't very polite. We couldn't find the luggage tag given to us and she was rude in talking to us, refusing to give us our bags. She did not even bother to look at us as she talked. She continued to type and look into the computer. She then stormed to the luggage store and insisted that we were given the tags. Later, she made us describe our bags before giving us very unwillingly. We understand the hotel policy about the luggage tag but the staff could at least sound nicer and more patient.
