« Good hotel with excellent location »

The hotel is very close to SMN railway station. Rooms are big and comfortable, espacially beds, the staff very friendly always with smiley. Breakfast good, wi-fi with good speed. I definetely will be back

The service provided was less than minimum expectation. Information provided by staff was inconsistent and conflicting. The fact that over two days there was no Manager available to speak to was highly unprofessional and extremely frustrating

It is a real pity you did not report your dissatisfaction to the Front Desk Receptionists, as we could have intervened immediately. Regarding your request to talk with a Manager, I am really surprised you state that no one was available. My Front Office Manager was on duty on Saturday and Sunday, but she did not receive any request to exchange with you. I regret for any misunderstanding if you made this request to my team. « 1 night rest over before work »

After a long flight from Singapore and a 1.5 hours train from Milan, Mercure Firenze is a oasis to have a rest before work the next day. I have stayed at this hotel before because of the convenience of being near the train station. It is only 250-300 meters from Firenze St Maria Novella Station. Friendly staff who let me check in early at noon. Nice quiet room with a balcony.

I like your hotel, and I have stayed there twice before. I was very disappointed with several aspects of catering this time: 1. Going down to breakfast at 9,30 on Thursday 17th January, of the 30 tables in the room, 16 of them were still full of dirty crockery and food remains. This was horrible. There were plenty of staff around who should have cleared this up 2. The same happened on Saturday morning, just a few less tables 3. Your hotel directory clearly states that Room Service is available until 11.30pm, yet when I phoned for a simple spaghetti with tomato sauce at 9.50 on Friday 18th, I was told that the kitchen was closing. I was horrified as it was then too late to go out to find anything/anywhere else to eat. I expressed my displeasure, and the kitchen agreed to provide a salad. This eventually arrived just before 11pm. this is really not satisfactory in a hotel of your status. I am extremely annoyed about this

We were happy with the location of the hotel and the friendly staff. Every staff we encountered from the front desk, to breakfast were friendly and helpful. The bed/pillows could have been more comfortable and the breakfast was okay.

I was impressed by service. On my booking I had requested rooms close to each other, one room with double bed & other with 2 singles. I got exactly what I requested ( it is surprising how infrequently this occurs st some hotels). It was nice to have friendly greeting from staff every time we went past reception.

The room was fine. Cleaning was good. Service on front desk was great. Breakfast was a real deception. It was supposed to go until 10:30am but at 9:00am there was almost nothing being replaced. No fresh fruits or food. Very little options. Not what we expected at all.

It was a very good experience. The hotel is very well located (it´s very close to a lot of good places to eat), the room was amazingly big and confortable and the staff was really lovely. I definitely recomed the hotel.

Very helpful staff. Asked where I could sdo skiing, and was given a few suggestion by staff, Valentina. She even assisted to arranged private transfer and directed us to the tourist office for assistance on wheel chair for our mother.

My family stay two nights in Florence. Room 120 & 121, both room were at older building located beside the main road, room cannot control the air con, and while is cold ourside, heated air come our from the air vent. We Had too open window as room getting too warm. But our room was located at the junction beside traffic light. Cars buses and motorcycles stopping and going off, air quality was bad and noises through day and night. Never ever had such a bad stay. Next day we ask to change our room and was move to the third floor in the new building. The room on the first floor should not be offer for GUEST to stay. Pay so much and had the worst experience. Front desk staff was nice and polite.

The hotel was safe and secure but not of the same standard Mercure / Accor as we have experienced. Floor on carpet was quite dirty, did not appear vacuumedwhike we were there and little amenities provided ie no milk for drinks. The staff were friendly and helpful.

Hotel is 8minutes walk to the train station and definitely within 20minutes walk to any tourist attraction or site to visit. There are really good restaurants, all within 10minutes walk from out the door. Perfect location.
