We only stayed one night, as travelling to lombok the next day. The hotel is very convenient, staff are extremely friendly and happy to help in anyway. Being so close to the airport we could not hear anything in our room. Looking forward to staying there again.

Very convenient for late-night or early-morning arrivals. Also, the rooms have electrical outlets that accept plugs from USA and most other nations. This way the guests can charge laptops, tablets, camera batteries or whatever else without having to locate an adapter first. Excellent food choices in the restaurant.

Having stayed at the Ngurah Rai Airport Novotel several times in the past, I was looking forward to staying again when I arrived on a flight at midnight. Difficult to find and more difficult when lugging bags, I wasn’t happy to have a drawn out check in process. This was caused by the fact that my credit card used for the booking had needed to be cancelled when I’d discovered unauthorised debits. Not the hotels fault admittedly but as I’d booked at the non refundable rate, the payment for the room had already been taken in May (and it was now mid November) I assumed we could work this out quickly. So wrong...,Despite showing a credit card confirmation for the payment, the guy on the check in desk wanted to debit my other credit card for the cost of the room...effectucharging me twice. When asked about how long the refund process would take he was unsure. Getting more exhausted by the minute, we finally resolved it by us putting up a security deposit of more than the cost of the room. We had to work very hard to get this returned the next day at checkout. I was then instructed to provide written confirmation of my payment in May when I returned home and could access my online banking. I was mystified...they had my passport details, they had my record of previous stays, they had a credit card slip showing payment but still they insisted that I had to go back through the records for my cancelled card to verify my payment. I wondered why they couldn’t look through their own records instrpead. All up it was exhausting and frustrating.

Conveniently situated adjacent to the hotel, this hotel and the welcoming and friendly staff made a long (10 Hours) transit stop in Bali very relaxing. Direct access from the arrival hall Is a little tricky at the moment while the airport undergoes some remodeling - but on departure, the hotel lobby connects straight into the check in area. I found the rooms are comfortable and bright, the restaurant is good and the pool is long enough for a few laps. Reasonable room rates make this a definite recommendation for a long transit/short stopover.
