The experience I've had was not a 5-star experience, it was more like 3 stars. I found used cotton buds instead of new ones. I had no new shampoo or shower gel on the second night while I had used them half. The bottle of water for coffee was already opened and not fully filled - so I guess it was from a previous guest. It was impossible to plug my charger next to my bed, I had to plug it under the TV. No signal for TV, poor internet connection etc...

The service staff were excellent. The room was excellent. Really loved the patio. The breakfast was nice as well, really really loved the option to sit outside 10/10. The check-in check-out was very fast and very efficient. So mostly positives. There were two negatives though: 1. No hot water. I complained a few times and then gave up. The best you could do after the engineers looked at it was a tad colder than lukewarm. It was quite disappointing. After a very long day at work, all I wanted was a nice warm shower to unwind. This was really a huge negative. 2. At 9:30 AM (I think) every day the door bell was rung quite persistently. It was the folks who wanted to check if I wanted to do any laundry. I told them on both days that I do not want any laundry done and more importantly that I do not want to be disturbed, still they came the next day. At that time in the morning I am rushing to get ready for a day full of meetings and these persistent bell ringing burned a good two minutes out of my time every day. I had to run out of the shower once because they kept ringing the bell. It would be nice just to have a laundry bag that we can place things in and let the reception know that we want pick up or leave the bag outside the door. I really didn't enjoy being disturbed every morning. This was a minor negative.

I was travelling for business meetings and really enjoyed my stay. The rooms are lively and the restaurants were good. I enjoyed the breakfast. Service was great. Highly recommended.

Hotel was hosting our 6-monthly meeting for us. Very well done although AC was too cold for most of the participants. Room was comfortable and clean; wi-fi was good and staff always ready to help. Gym facilities disappointing with one machine out of service. Pool surrounds looking to be in need of maintenance as do the timber sidings in the accommodation wings. Dining and bar excellent service and selections. Would be good to have more seating at tables in the Oak Bar. Separate room off bar unused and could be set-up much better.

I've stayed regularly in M-Gallery NPT over the past two years. It's a shame the quality is gradually declining at this otherwise charming hotel. I love the spaciousness of the rooms and timber-heavy subdued decor but the customer service can be better. Don't get me wrong - there is always personal touch at the front desk and the staff tries their best. But they need a huge dose of training.
