It was uncomfortable not be able to tip the employees with the credit card. I arrived 3 times at night to the hotel and the door was opened.

I arrived late and, immediately upon getting into the shower, I noticed female hairs stick on the shower wall. As I was tired, I just called the reception and reported it. The person was apologetic and said that, unfortunately, nothing could be done at that point. On the next day early, I went personally to talk to the receptionist and ask for some TLC in the room, specially in the shower. I let the “please make up the room” at the door. The person at the reception wrote down my request and said that, to make it up, the breakfast for my stay would be complimentary. I appreciated it, but since I was in a hurry, I just had a black coffee and left straight. My surprise was at 6PM that day, when I went back to the room, it was not made, and the sign “please make up the room” was thrown on the floor just by the door(inside the room), which means that someone came into the room, took the sign out of the door and thrown it under the door, without tidying it up, which was an absurd itself. I called the reception and the friendly guy (Andres, I think) said that nothing could be done, but he would send some towels over. To summarize, on the second day, after the very dirty room, when I checked out, my final surprise was to see that I was charged for the breakfast. Seriously, that was beyond ridiculous. I asked to speak to the manager and the receptionist gave me his business card, but said that I couldn’t reach him at that point and that the breakfast, which was supposedly complementary, had to be paid. Well, I definitely will never go back to this place. After this, I can assure you that I’ll keep staying on the hotel I was used to, just next door, similar prices, and never had any issue.

Great restaurant, excellent food, modern environment. Breakfast is ok, but not great... Overall experience was pretty good. Most certainly will consider returning next time.

I had a great time at Novotel Curitiba. My only suggestion was to add more international food / regional food to the Room Service Menu. The Peruvian Hotel is unique, but for a long stay, I would rather have more regular options.

Stayed for 4 nights for business. Overall good experience. But the hotel seems like it's starting now. If that was a new hotel chain, I'd give some time, but is Novotel and the whole thing should be in place already.

The reception and restaurang/bar personell were awsome! Highly serviceminded and helping at all times! The cleaninglady on the other hand was under all sort of chiticism! She cleand my room 1 time during our 5 night stay. First night my collegue asked here to NOT clean since I was sleaping but all other days she did not even bother to open the door or to go in and change the towels! Not to mension to clean anything! Very Very dissapointed!

Looks like a brand new hotel as it is. All the facilities looks very well and new, the room was very good with all the amenities and a good bed and bathroom. The restaurant is great and the breakfast was very tasty, fresh and have variety. Gym was good as well.

I was impressed by the concierge. This gentleman made a huge difference. Knowing our names ang greeting us every morning. Accommodating temporarily an uncommon check in due to the list of my ID. The manager during check out was Aldo great understanding all need. The only glitch was the ironing/clothes pressing room. The iron was damaged by previous clothes burning and I could not use it on my white shirt. The night shift attendant at the front desk promised me to clean it or replace it in the morning and never did. When I asked at the front desk again in the morning to have it cleaned I heard from the female attendant that: “it is the service we provide”. She did not even bother to find a replacement iron. After some time they decided to ask the 4 TH floor cleaning lady to clean it. This person should check the iron every day! It’s a sevicie you announced you have so you need to maintain it working properly.

this hotel are very well located, in a few blocks you re in a shopping mall. The hotel staff was friendly and efficient, the room was very clean and the bed very comfortable. The breakfast buffet are very sorted, I just missed a toaster and what the options to order besides the buffet.
