As usual, good experience during stay. Front desk staff was kind and attentive and swiftly arranged check in. Hotel is currently undergoing major renovations, however the impact on guests is minimal.

« I am A loyalty Member Platinum - My Luxury room looked the same as a Standard room. »

The Internet was terrible and Unstable. After all the stay's and my Platinum member status I had to pay for my Dinner on 2nd floor(Due to 9 nights stay) Where is the loyalty treatment for being a loyal customer. The renovations and workings on the escalators where inconvenient at a time where there is high traffic (6pm in the evening) . The food taste has decreased and is not to the standard it has always been.

« Excellent Hotel and staff but communication let the stay down »

The hotel is excellent and really nicely done out. The staff excellent, very professional, helpful and friendly... However the overall communication could be improved. i.e. we booked the suit with lounge access but the lounge was only open for breakfast for the one day. IF i had been told at time of booking I would not have booked the suit with lounge access. Thus we missed out on the complimentary drinks and snakes for the one day. Also with the lounge closed the main dinning / breakfast area had not been informed of our requirement for breakfast so there was a lot of messing around to get the breakfast on second morning. Finally for Non Accor members they where given a Red Envelop with range of free gift which where all on display but we didn't get anything. I feel the Red Envelope gift for Chinese New Year should be given to all especially Accor members. I feel with the number of top hotels close by it's important for the Sofitel to reward its members as normal do in other countries. I'm happy to talk and explain in more detail if required.

Sofitel Club and Club service pretty good. Very friedly employees. Reception very friedly and try to do everything well. Service during breakfast really bad. Never had such a bad service before in a hotel.

I received an upgrade to an Executive Room including access to the lounge. The staff was very attentive and considerate to all my request and needs. Additionally the Executive Lounge managers were highly supportive and asked at any occasion if I needed service whenever I was in the Lounge. Also check in and check out was very smooth, effective and quick. Very good service.
