« Perfect location for a family get away. »

The stay was in the perfect location, away from the main city but close enough to jump straight on the highway. Facilities are great and breakfast facilities were amazing. We will be staying again.

The room was clean and the house keeper Debra was great. She was friendly, helpful, and very knowledgeable about things to do in the area. Checkin was made difficult as information given to me by reservation did not carry through to the front desk. Althiugh i specifically asked about booking in for breakfast and about the price, i was told o didnt have to as i could just show up in the morning. When my wife 2 hildren and my self showed up for breakfast, the staff were surprised that we had not booked, and then kver charged us as the ages of the children were not noted. The billing era was corrected upon check out, with my wife being told that we would have gotten a better price if we had booked breakfast upon check in. There seems to be poor communication between the reservations team, front of house reception, and the staff on the floor. The buffet breakfast was reasonable. Fairly well stocked and maintained by a chef. Seating was an issue, but with problems about reservations, this is hardly a surprise. The room was tidy and clean. The pInt on the ceiling about the shower is flaking. The room has been reconfigured to have 2 queen beds. This means the powerpoints are covered up, and the light switch near the headboard is exposed and turns on when sleeping as the pillows push against the switch. When an extension lead was requested, it seemed as though it was a strange request until i explained why i needed it. Approximately 50min later it was delivered. Parking is tight but understandable, the illuminated EXIT signs were also not working in the underground parking area. Bins were generally filling up fast and were full more often than not. The digital compendium needs improvement. Some infofmation was vague, other missing. Perhaps adding the full restaurant menu would save people having to walk to the restaurant to see what is offered. Concierge was always friendly and helpful. The resort generally is in good presentation anx its location is advantageous as well. I believe there needs to be improvement in the communication between departments and more attention given to the small details. The 1 percenters.

« The service exceeded my expectations, and the facilities met my expectationst »

The service is of high quality, the staff enjoy themselves and they are willing to assist. Only small improvement, the fridge was not switched on so my water bottles did not cool down on a very warm day. I was competing at the triathlon on Sunday and I would have liked slightly frozen water bottle for the event. This did not detract from the excellent service. I also understand that at very short notice I was given a room upgrade, so I understand that this is probably why the fridge was not switched on ready for our arrival.

We had a wonderful time staying there over the weekend. The grounds were kept beautifully and the staff were very friendly. The only thing I could negatively comment on was the price to rent a movie ($15.95 is s bit excessive in my opinion) but other than that we loved our stay. We will be back!

For $160 a night I would expect a stocked bar fridge. The fridge wasn't even on. Also breakfast should also be included. But overall we had a good stay. Having to pay for a movie is a bit unfair.

The location worked well, which is why I picked this place. The swimming pool was excellent for us as we have young children. The staff weren't great, the rooms which were meant to be interconnecting weren't really which was quite frustrating. I certainly wouldn't have thought it was a 4 star resort.

We arrived early so Joshua or Justin found a room for us in a short time. During our stay Lea, who made up our room delighted the kids with towel animals and notes wishing us a pleasant stay. Very impressed. The grounds were well presented and all the staff extremely helpful and hospitable.

Staying at the Mecurre Gold Coast was pleasant. The rooms were well appointed, met our needs and the location of the hotel was good that it was within Driving distance of what we wanted to see, do and places to eat.

We had booked for a friends birthday with a day at the races and back to the Resort to finish off her birthday celebrations. We started with drinks in the lounge area. Some bar staff were fine (happy and obliging) and one in particular, was not happy to say the least. We ended up just ordering our meal from the Bar Menu as we could not be accommodated in the Restaurant. Did not stay for breakfast.
