Perfect stay, accomodation nice and sevice in restaurant excellent. Thank you Tom Bloomfield and his staff in particular our server,( sorry we think her name was Wendy/Helen ) so friendly and accomodating.

The people within the Mercure; from the concierge to the housekeepers offered a great level of service with nothing being too much trouble. Food was lovely, the only feedback being to perhaps provide a little more morning and afternoon tea for the conference (UGL Conference.) Thank you,

Overall good and the staff were helpful and friendly. I have to pay to get my car cleaned due to those Indian minor birds sitting and dropping all over my car. Nice try with the netting but instead of sitting on the services and hitting cats with 50% strike rate they sit on the cars instead and get 100% strike rate.

The housekeepers made our day with the lovely notes after they cleaned our room. The buffet breakfast was good, I would recommend getting a better coffee machine as the coffee was average. Pools were amazing, all other staff were friendly. Thanks for the great stay.

Although we were booked in 3rd floor with no lift (it was really a climb given there’s a toddler with us), we were quite satisfied with the room that was given to us. The room was tidy and neatly presented. There was some hitch maybe in the hotel’s computer system because when we went to have our breakfast, I told the attendant our room number and when she looked for it, they said they found our names yet we still need to pay for our breakfast. I told them that I already paid for it during check the previous night. And since it took quite a few minutes for that hassle, my husband felt embarrassed already with the situation. I just told him why are you embarrassed when we already paid for it?! So they called the reception and they let us in to have our breakfast. I don’t know what happened there as it was not explained to us. I just hope next time we will not be put in that situation again as people where already lining up at our back. Maybe that’s why my husband felt embarrassed and told me next time make sure to get an invoice for our meals. Even with this experience, I still joined to become an accor member. Prior to booking in to the hotel, we were not members of the club.

Mercure Gold Coast resort is fantastic. Our room was very comfortable and clean. The pools were fabulous. Breakfast was delicious with an amazing variety of food to choose. All the staff were helpful and friendly. We loved that Cindy made little animals with our towels and the personal note each day was just a delight. We will definitely stay here again.

« Fair expected better. »

Stayed 3 years ago and remember lovely rooms. Room this time had cobwebs in bathroom. Mould in grout. Ordered interconnected rooms but there was nothing to keep the doors open. Magnetic thing there but not working. No mini bar. Vending machine not working. Front desk staff excellent. Breakfast excellent.

Comfortable rooms, friendly housekeepers, good facilities, tasty meals. Only let down was we didn’t feel too welcome when we showed up for breakfast or dinner each day - seemed like staff were doing us a massive favour to seat us for buffet breakfast. Also at 6pm we couldn’t get a seat for dinner as restaurant was booked out, but no one else had arrived yet. We sat in the bar and enjoyed our meals there very quickly, so feel restaurant staff should be making more of an effort to turn tables before peak dining time of 6.30/7pm.

« On the whole it was a pleasant stay with a couple of minor issues »

The room was very nice and clean-Very satisfied. The bar & restaurant for dinner was fantastic. Great bar staff and the food was superb. The breakfast was very average and after paying $28 for buffet having to pay extra for a decent cup of coffee was a bit much. I had booked with a golf group to play at lake lands and when I asked about a shuttle to take 8 of us 5mins away to the course I was told that I should of booked this a week before. The manager eventually accommodated us but the concierge didn't handle this very well when speaking to me. Overall a nice stay with only those couple of comments.
