1) Did not tell me my booking is include breakfast 2) I been told I am not entitle to claim my Le Accor points because my booking was make by my Corporate agent. But I never have this problem with Le Accor for my past few years. 3) I sat in the lounge for more than 20 min but no staffs take order for me. I had to walked to reception to 'asked for a bartender' to get my order. After that, a restaurant staff came and apologised because of short of manpower, she has to standby at the restaurant...... This is ridiculous!!!! Why don't just closed the lounge??? 4) Room A/C off automatically at midnight. 5) No shower cup provided.

Overall a great experience. However, there was no housekeeping for the whole time i was there. Towel needed to be asked for if wanted it to be changed. On my last day, I was told that towels were out of stock.

Overall, clean and nice rooms. Small issues: 1) Small cockroaches in the bathroom on Night 1. Taken care of (I guess) because not evident anymore for Night 2 and 3. 2) Car park is payable by guest, "carpark don't belong to us" not a good answer. It is okay for guest to pay but for RM5.00, surely the hotel can afford to pick it up for guests. 3) It is not a lot of money, I am willing to pay. But I have to walk out of the hotel to the corner at the back to pay and then walk back into the hotel to get the car. The reason you don't have a validating machine is because you didn't want to pay for the guest. I am sure if you come to an agreement with the carpark operator, this would not have been a problem. Better to increase room rate by RM 5.00 for all rooms than asking guests to pay at the back of the hotel.

This is my second time visit KK, and every time I stay in avangio. First of all crews are very kind and helpful, swimming pool view is great, location≠arby cafe is good. However there are so many differences between my first visit(2018.2). No roomservice, less crew(no one in pool&gym counter), dirty pool sewer, maid sometimes missing towels, no shuttle bus to waterfront, poor room bath sewer. Wifi is much better than last year, fast and consistent.

The first room we checked in on the 5th floor having unpleasant odour. Called the customer service, they just sent housekeeper came to spray inside the room without checking the causes of the smell. And, the smell came back after 5 mins. Therefore, we requested to change another room, and they change us to another floor, which the room was fine without any smell. Yet, the room continuously having some sort of mechanical sound which was quite annoying. Bathroom hanger and shower stand didn’t maintain well, easily to get off from the wall when you take the towel or the shower head. Other than these, the room was maintaining in good condition. Although having all these problems, we didn’t called the front desk again due to tiredness. Lastly, it was quite surprised that a 4-star hotel couldn’t provide the guest with an umbrella. We wanted to go the nearby convenient store, but there is no shelter walkway and no umbrella could provide for us to cross the road.

I was not that happy with the service 1) there was a lizard in my room, and it took so long for your side to attend to that issue 2) the aircond barely worked the entire time 3) the breakfast spread was limited and no refills

Stayed here as my wife delivered our daughter in JMC. The room was clean, front desk were helpful. The bed was comfortable or I was too tired. Maybe the management should consider giving special promotion for guests that have relatives warded to boost sales.

The Hotel was too far out of town. If you wanted to do anything you had to get a grab car. Tour operators would not pick up individuals. Staff polite and helpful. Food rather average. Hard to get something to eat outside meal time. Staff no knowledge of local facilities, eateries. The location spoilt the whole stay in Kota Kinabalu. Overall hotel facilities good.
