From the moment we arrived, we were greeted with nothing but negativity. They cancelled our reservation without us knowing. The front desk person was rude, and seemed as though she did not want to be there.

« losing its professionalism - new manager? »

After many fine stays, this time I noticed flaws in housekeeping and management: one elevator out of service, no soap or shampoo in bathroom dispensers, burned out light bulb, phone not working so had to go to reception, then switched rooms, now soap but a light was also out. Asked for ice at the bar and was told the machine was not functioning. Very disappointing overall. Ivonne, where are you?

The location was great, but I was disappointed with the service, for example at the check in, the woman tried to tell us we have no breakfest even though we paid for it and was generally unfriendly. The food in the restaurant was ok, but not great.

I stayed in Ibis Alameda for 3 night in December 2017. When we arrived we realized that the location of the hotel was not the best one, but it was ok. On our last day in Mexico City, one of my closes was stolen from my suitcase. We reported it on the same day, but the receptionist was not prepared to deal with the situation. The housekeeper that cleaned my room was at reception when we came down to report and she kind of assumed and the receptionist didnt do anything, just moved the shoulderwhen I mentioned that the housekeeper should not touch my suitcase. The next day we went to talk to the manager and the receptionist said she was not there, only when I said why I was willing to talk to the manager she went inside and called for her. She gave us the money back 9the blouse was new so we could remember the cost) and apologized. I was a terrible experience considering we were on holiday and had to go thought a lot of stress.
