I did not stay. I booked for others. I have now been charged twice for one of the nights and did not receive receipts when required.

Terrible on arrival wrong room allocated booked a twin 2 single beds. Got one double bed. Didn’t want to sleep with my father. Complained told to wait 15 minutes in the hall on the first floor until another room was allocated. New room was allocated and again another room without 2 single beds. Complained again and told my booking was for one bed not 2 beds. I had to show the reception staff Callum the confirmation emailed which stated 2 single beds before he did anything further. Then moved us again a third time to a room with 2 single beds. After we got in our room we noticed no chocolate or chips were in the mini bar. I rang reception to complain and he said he would come up and check that we didn’t have them. I made it clear that we did not eat them in the 1 minute we had been in the room. Then we checked out the next morning and I told reception that we had. I chocolate or chips and I was told yes we didn’t receive the order and didn’t have any chocolate or chips. I should have been told this the night before or a note should have been left in the room notifying us that these items were in short supply and missing from the mini bar.

Reception was welcoming on arrival, had a very comfortable room with a king bed. The glazed windows made it very quiet and had a nice dinner downstairs. Close to Nelson bay for lunch the next day. So glad we stayed there.

Everything was excellent, except the reception area and passageway to my room were cold. I had trouble working out heating but managed eventually. There was a sticker on the on button, which confused me. All staff very helpfull

I stay very frequently at Mecure Newcastle Airport. My last two (2) stays were 13-16 May 2019 and 30-31 May 2019. My most recent stay met expectations. My stay 13-16 MAy 2019 (3N/4D)w as not so pleasant as my sheets were not changed for the entire four (4) days of the stay stay - It was also very obvious/visible that the sheets required changing after the second night - accidental food/biological (I'm also fully aware of the property/company commitment to the enviroment by reducing sheets changes, as so am I - please not comments/repeating policy etc). Most dissapointing returning to your room and finding the bed had only beentucked-in. Perhaps staff do not enought time during make-up activities? Otherwise met expectations.
