Great location for the airport - but expensive.

Everything was great about this accommodation, but they take advantage of the fact that they are the only accommodation close to the airport. The same room in Sydney close to the airport would not have cost so much. That annoys me. There was stacks of hotel parking, yet they still charged $15 per night for parking. That being said I cannot fault the staff, the cleanliness of the rooms or the breakfast.

The Mercure Airport was a bit out of town, however our stay was pleasing. We received a warm welcome. The room was bright and comfortable. Good food in the restaurant. Did not realise that there was a fee for parking.

Having to pay for parking as an accor member ESPECIALLY when there is no free off-site parking available, always sours the experience, and probably the tipping point as to why I won't be renewing this year.

Nice room clean. Travelled with my elderly mother who has mobility isdues and uses a walker. Their was enough room to move around easily. Called hotel and was picked up at airport. Gym clean. Enjoyed my stay, relaxing.
