Room was clean and very comfortable. Ordered room service which arrived promptly . Food was hot and really tasty. I was surprised by the $15 parking fee per night. We have stayed before and not payed a parking fee. I think that if you are staying on the premises you should get at least one night parking free.

I have stayed many times at Mercure Newcastle Airport and not been charged for parking. This time I was and when I asked the front desk they had a very dismissive attitude which was very disappointing needless to say I won't be returning.

Overall very pleasant experience.......only challenge for further consideration would be that the front desk and bar were not always being staffed when approached a couple of times, this caused momentary pause in service, but once someone stepped up, the service was great.

The room was very clean a reasonably roomy. Food in the restaurant was very good and well priced, but the drinks are a bit expensive. Overall a good one night stay and would stay again.

I had a two night stay at your hotel. The breakfast options were plentiful and the dinner options were fine. The only thing I would recommend for the hotel would be to add a gym. Given the remote location of the hotel and there isnt really anywhere guests can run (given the busy roads), I would recommend a small gym being installed.

Room was great - clean and pleasant to be in. The restaurant and bar is well set out. Food was very good without being top class. Mostly the staff were very friendly, willing for a chat if they get time. Helpful too. There was only one occasion one girl wasn't all that happy, wasn't rude but just seemed like she was over it. Maybe she was nearing the end of a long shift and if that's the case I don't blame her for not being overly cheerful. Just one problem I have with the motel. There is no laundry, just a dry cleaning service. I stayed a week and was running out of clean clothes with no laundry within miles. Some items of clothing were not meant to be dry cleaned. (I guess Raymond Terrace would have one, but a long way to go if you just want to wash clothes.)

We needed to break our journey to Queensland and found this Hotel suited all our needs for an overnight stay. The modern look, and great rooms with comfortable king beds and nice walk in showers was a nice surprise. We dined in for both dinner on arrival, and breakfast the next morning. Dinner menu is small but we were happy with our meals. Breakfast was as expected, with fresh fruit, cereals, pastries, pancakes, and the usual hot choices. We would certainly stay here again.

Although I am a long term Accor Hotels Club member, there were no pleasant experiences about the whole visit. Check-in took longer than normal. My room was made up for two single beds. On request it was changed, however I was accused of booking twin singles. My corporate travelller account does not have such an option. I ordered a steak with mustard for dinner and the wine list. No mustard was provided and the waitress had gone before I could mention it, however the wine list was delivered. When my colleague eventually managed to attract a waitress' attention, we were halfway through our dinner and I ordered a bottle of shiraz. I pointed to my selection on the menu and the waitress read it out to confirm. When we had almost finished our meals, a bottle of white wine was provided with the statement that is what I pointed to. By the time the correct bottle of wine was delivered, we had finished our dinner. There was no apologies.
