As a leclub GOLD MEMBER, I don't feel any above expectation experience. When I checked in, the priority welcome staff told me to check in at regular counter, even without asking me do I have gold member. I have to show him my card before he treated me differently. When I want to extend my stay at samator I got rejected.

The rooms are excellent and the hotel very well maintained. Huge disappointment though on the food. Quality of ingredients is not up to the standards. Some food is never available. The menu needs a complete make-over, with fresh ingredients and quality food.

Third time staying in this hotel. I noticed a poor service right from the beginning but since this hotel is near my mother’s house, I keep trying to see if any improvement. My third stay is the worst experience, especially if you are comparing to the other hotel stays. 1. My rate is clearly stated bed and breakfast. When I came to bfast room, I’m already sitting n taking bfast, I was told that my rate is not inclusive of bfast. I answered, it is included I’m sure and please let me finish my bfast first and please checked to the system. The guy contacted receptionist and stillI was told my rate is exclusive bfast n the guy asked me how I am going to settle my bill. Gosh! I won’t run away!! While I was having bfast, I need to search my booking (book direct to Accor by the way!) n showed to the guy n he checked again then apologize. What unnecessary unpleasant experience I must have. 2) I ordered morning wake up call at 3.30am as I have to leave at the airport at 4am. Acknowledged by Della (and apparently it was noted in the book) but THERE WAS NO WAKE UP CALL!!! When I came to reception, I told I ordered wake up call but why there was no wake up call, the guy only checked the book and said yes there was a record about it. Oh my! 3) what I don’t like about this hotel, as 4star hotel, they only provide big towel. No hand no face towel. For me I only need face towel and too bulky for me to use the big one. When you ask the face or hand towel, you have to call 3x to get it delivered to your room. I have made special request 2 times about the towel arrangements prior my arrival as I know my experience before I had to call many tomes to get it delivered but seems hopeless. 4) I shared with the car rental driver about all these experience and he told me as a driver, the rudeness of the security in the lobby area is unbeatable compared to other hotels! Worst ever he said. With all these experience my next stay in Surabaya I have booked Ciputra World Hotel. I have the booking proof if you want to see. My feedback: service must be improved! Otherwise, the nice room cannot compensate those bad services to make your customers returning to your hotel. /regards

Even we have platinum member but it's useless in novotel samator. We dont get upgrade room (as they promise when booking) and no point/night stay received.
