« the electronic key entries needed re-charging which was annoying, the room service for food was terrible »

The room was excellent and the views great. Staff were excellent and very quick to respond to requests but your food from room service was poor and I would be reluctant to ever use it again. Your electronic key system was unreliable, needed to take them back for re-charging 4 times in 1.5 days. The Japanese restaurant is superb. The buffet breakfast average.

I had the impression that the room was not completely prepared for my arrival. I normally stay in this hotel, and the ammenities were missing in the bathroom, as well as the towel carpet.

- Internet is not acceptable: very slow - how can a "Business Hotel" have such a slow internet?? - Check-in and check-out are usuall very slow - After you use laundry servies during a stay, the laundry bag is never replaced - Frigobar assortment could be improved: there are 6 waters and only 1 is sparkling - Rooms are very dark - Waiters in the restaurant could be more proactive and faster in service

The hotel and room OK but it is unacceptable that until now I hasn't received my Invoice, that is a obligation to issue immediately after my check-out. The price for the breakfast of R$ 40,00 is too expensive. I NEED MY INVOICE IMMEDIATELY

It was nice. The room was big, clean and comfortable. The accoustic of the area was nice. The only thing not very pleasant was the association of a big thick blanket (that's the only blanket provided in the room) and a medium temperature air.

I´ve stayed at your hotel numerous times for business as it´s one of my companies preferred hotels, and I have always been very satisfied. Unfortunately this is the first time i was extremely disappointed with the overall cleanliness of the room, specifically the bathroom. When i talked to the individual who checked me out and showed a picture of how I encountered the bathroom upon my arrival he didn´t seem to care that much and didn´t offer anything to show that not only my business but that my companies business is valued. All I got was an "I´m sorry" which I´m sure wasn´t really meant. He didn´t even offer to escalate the issue to management, I had to request that he let his superior be aware.

« Decent, but needs improvement »

Gym was a good effort, but fell short. First hotel with actual barbells and plates. Even had a squat rack. Problem was the bar was too narrow and really didn't fit in the squat rack. Only 2 fans and no A/C, so you basically had to work out in the morning or it was sweltering in there. Vinyl floors are not good for squats if you sweat at all. No towels in there. No cleaning equipment to wipe the machines down after use. Steam room was either not on/working or it was so hot that I could only spend 5-6 minutes max in there. Most "business" hotels I've stayed at in other countries have more than 1-2 people that speak english. Nobody at the restaurant spoke any english. One person at Udon did and the front desk person. Room key cards had to be reset 6 times during my stay. You have to use the key card to go up the elevator and if your card doesn't work and there are other people in there, you are going to be in there for a bit. The breakfast was the strangest thing ever. Some days, they would take my room number and mark it on a list. Sometimes, they wouldn't. Sometimes, they would randomly show up with a bill while I was eating and it was written in Portuguese so I had no idea they were asking me to pay for breakfast. Breakfast was included in our corporate rate, but we ended up paying when they felt like bringing a bill?! Of course, nobody spoke english, so we had to get the front desk guy to figure out what was going on. Chairs desperately needed to be recovered and many were degraded or ripped/frayed. Tables wobbled. The room was pretty decent. Shower door looked like it hadn't been cleaned in a while with water spot staining all over it. A/C in the room would not remove the humidity. Mini bar was the cheapest one I've ever seen and first time I've used one in a while. That was great! No top sheets on the bed, just a duvet cover. Does that ever get washed? Internet was good, but clearly not very secure. I always wonder why nobody puts fans in the bathrooms. If you take a hot shower, you can see the condensation on the ceiling........and where it has been rotting the ceiling. In Brazil, one shouldn't drink the water. If I can't drink the water, please provide bottled water in the room at no charge. We ended up at the grocery store 4 times to lug back cases of water. Hallway on my floor (9) was covered in stains. Seems like there was a lot of unfinished construction everywhere. They have a "save the trees" towel rack. I don't need a super fresh towel every day, so I hung it up......but they still replaced it anyway. One day, they didn't replace the small towels that I was using to take to the gym. Ended up having to use the paper towel in the gym to wipe sweat. Seems like with a bit more effort, the place would be pretty nice. The food at Udon was a 7 out of 10.

« Extreamly dissatisfied (terrible experience) »

1) Had dinner with my co-workers, they received their meal and about 1/2 hour later myself and another co-worker received the wrong meal. It took another 45 minutes to get the correct meal. the dinner took over 2 hours to eat. The placemats on the tables were dirty and never cleaned, I sat at the same seat for 4 breakfasts and 1 dinner and the same food deposits remained there for three days 2) The bed in my room was not made properly for the three night stay, the mattress cover did not fit properly and the sheets were never able to be tucked in, housekeeping did a terrible job with the bed. I don't usually complain about a hotel stay but this was terrible!!!!
