Great staff, I was very well welcomed. There was a detail, I asked for a higher floor room at the online reservation, but got a lower floor. The front door at the room is not acoustic sealed. I could hear everyone walking through the aisle, and even more because they had given me a room right in front of the elevator. Besides all of that, my staying at the hotel was very pleasant, and I had no problems.

This is a very nice hotel in a good location for business, shopping mall and lots of restaurants. My room was large and the bed was comfortable. The only issue was the bathroom. It was very small and the toilet was hidden behind the bathroom door. I did not have the breakfast buffet on this trip. All of the staff were extremely friendly and helpful. I have to point out one person in particular at the check out on Sunday September 29th. His name was Erick. His was very friendly to me and I watched as he assisted other people. When my Uber arrived he even helped me with my luggage. I will stay at this hotel the next time I am in Sao Paulo.

Overall, it was a fine stay. Buffet was great. Great location. Helpful staff. In terms of areas of improvement: there was a smell of cigarette smoke in my room (1317) that I could not escape. The sheets/towels were meh and the bathroom just seemed kinda dingy. I'm definitely open to staying with you guys again based on price & location, but to be honest, I'd look elsewhere first.

With pain in my heart, I must make a not so good review. Pain as the staff was really great, helpful and professional. The problem is the hotel itself, which is at premium price ranges but far less up-to-date and equipped than its competitors or even the normal Mercure's in the same city (cheaper and better). The breakfast is very limited in setup and varies little (please benchmark as colleagues do better). Biggest problem, however are the below average room conditions. Choosing a Grand Mercure you expect clean up-to-date and maintained rooms. This is however a big issue. The sheets had wear-down holes, the furniture was granny-time old and the conditions of the rooms itself not updated for several decades as it seems. Style was also a bit.... old-fashioned. In short: an update is really needed and prices are not ok for this standard. What was great is the dedication and attention of the staff: please relay my compliments. They have been welltrained and enjoy the work, so from HR perspective, I see a good opportunity once the hotel gets a more fresher look.

The room and breakfast were OK. Everything clean and good. However two issues: - I had to move to another room due to leakage in a room below. No compensation except for a bag of cookies and a letter to someone else in Portuguese language - At a certain night a package was delivered and later collected again because it should go to someone else. .. I was already in bed and disturbed twice

This hotel seemed more like a school dormitory - very thin walls, unclean, very primitive and not enjoyable at all.

The room walls were so thin that I could clearly hear the people in the room next to me as if they were in the same room as I was. A late night party that I had to tolerate. The floor seemed unclean and was unpleasant with bare feet. Compared to other hotels I have stayed at in Sao Paulo this one was very disappointing and I will look for other options for my next trip. Considering the price and the experience, this hotel provides very poor value. On a positive note, the breakfast options were excellent and hotel staff were pleasant and very professional.
