We work hard to provide an exceptional experience for our guests, but it is clear that in this case we were unsuccessful. As your reservation was made for a room with two single beds, we couldn´t give you an up grade once all our Junior Suítes have 01 double bed. We have already reprimanded the reservation department employee for not being clear since your first request, such as the reception desk employee, for not clarify our rooms categories and not provide chairs for the balcony in a polite way. On arrival to the foyer of the hotel, noted that just outside of the entrance was a bit of rubbish, indicative of a lack of care. After checking in, took up the elevator to the 3rd floor and on stepping into the corridor noticed a cockroach just in front of my room.

How would you feel after full day work in one city, then flying and reaching a hotel late in the evening, desperate to take a shower and relax, and then, when you reach the front desk the person in charge says: “sorry, your room is not available anymore as other guests didn’t leave their room and there’s nothing I can do”?That was my experience in this hotel.

« Reasonable service in a dated hotel »

After a lengthy check-in process (much longer than I am used to at Accor properties) I arrived at my room. The room was spacious, and had a nice balcony. The mattress was super confortable. But the furniture and fittings were old and tired (the room even had old style powerplugs whose phaseout was started 10 years ago or so). The reception dealt swiftly with a small request. Restaurant staff were friendly and the breakfast buffet was pretty nice.
