« Very good hotel from Pullman Chain »

I've stayed on Pullman Vila Olimpia 5 times or so before, always with a great service, from reception desk to the wonderfully decorated rooms. But this last time I've experienced some problems: my minibar was broken, all drinks inside at room temperature and my Nespresso machine was as well off. Although I presented my complains to reception desk twice, nothing was done during my stay. I see a room for improvement on simple things like this...

« Best place to stay in Villa Olimpia district »

Pleasant as always! Also used the restaurant for a company function involving 40 attendees nd the service + food was excellent!! Only suggestions fro improvement would be (1) activate the BBC news channel on the televisions in rooms and also repair the pug socket that are loose. I stayed in room 1507 and the electricity plug sockets are loose (and so a bit dangerous).

« The stay as a whole was OK, but could have been better. »

My room was nice. All of the employees were very nice. The water was brown when it first came out of the sink. The TV in the living room did not have access to the same channels as the TV in my bedroom? Room service food and beverages were delivered warm, not hot. The fitness facility lacked enough equipment and the cardio equipment did not function properly.

« Very friendly staff but the rooms are not convincing »

Everybody on the staff was friendly and helpful, from the check-in onward. Rooms are not well noise insulated and the SHOWER was bad, with temperatures fluctuating randomly from too hot to too cold and the shower head was rather old.

My name is Dallas H. and I recently completed a nearly 3 week long stay (19 days) at the Pullman Hotel, in Vila Olimpia, Sao Paulo, Brazil. I travel about 10x a year for work, all with stays of long durations, and I was looking forward to making hotels in the Accor Group my preferred hotel group for travel. As a first time guest of the Accor Hotel Group, I was very much looking forward to my stay at the Pullman. I have to say that I was extremely disappointed in my stay and experience here. Throughout the 19 days that I was staying at the hotel, there were a significant number of incidents that made my stay here less than perfect. These incidents are detailed below. Difficult time contacting the welcome desk. When calling the welcome desk, often times no one would pick up the phone. This resulted in me having to physically go back down to the lobby to speak to someone regarding my requests. (Room service, laundry pickup etc) My laundry was not returned. I had my laundry picked up the previous evening, and was told it would be returned to my room by 7 pm the following day. It was not. I had to contact the welcome desk, only to be informed that they did not know where my laundry was. After some investigation, I was able to get my laundry back (after 7 pm). I thought it was extremely unprofessional that I had to call to get my clothes back. Over charged at the spa. I booked a 90 minute "stress relief" massage. When looking at the prices offered, I was told that it would cost me R$195, which I agreed to. After the massage, I was charged R$260, which is not the price that was advertised in the spa offerings brochure. The woman who gave me the massage did not speak English (and I do not speak Portuguese), so I was unable to ask about the price change. With no options and not wanting to be difficult, I paid the R$260. Complimentary waters not replaced in my room. Several times throughout the duration of the stay, the complimentary water bottles were not replaced each day. I tried to contact the welcome desk to ask for more, but no one answered the phone. I had to go down to reception to ask. One evening, the manager felt so bad that I had to keep coming down, he bought me a drink at the bar. Towels not replaced. Several times during the stay, my towels were not replaced in my room. This resulted in me having to use wet, dirty, towels after my showers. On November 15, at around 10 pm, I ordered room service. I ordered a caprese salad and chicken soup. After one hour of my food not being delivered, I called the welcome desk to ask about it. I was told they would call me back. Once they called me back they told me that they had lost my order. I had to order again, and wait another 45 minutes for the food to be delivered. Again, I thought it was extremely unprofessional that I had to call to find my food, and then wait nearly two hours for salad and soup. On November 16, I had ordered room service breakfast. I opted for the second breakfast option, which included breads, fruits, and some choice of eggs. . The breakfast was extremely disappointing. Not only did I not receive the breads and spreads that were supposed to be included, but the omelette was extremely over cooked - almost to the point of being burnt. It was inedible - I threw it away and went downstairs to the normal buffet breakfast instead. I thought the Pullman was a beautiful hotel, and was really looking forward to the stay here, but the guest experience left a lot to be desired. As someone who spends a significant portion of the year traveling for business, I am always looking forward to finding a new hotel group that I can call home, and be my preferred residence on my business travels. After this stay at the Pullman, I am not so sure that this group will be my home away from home.

checked in late, went to room, took long shower & prepared for sleep. Came out of bathroom and had another shower in room, water was coming through light fitting in ceiling! Had to wait 15 min for maintenance before reception would approve a move to a different room. Water + electric = danger! asked for a free beer from minibar as compensation at checkout, but had to pay. Staff generally friendly & helpful, breakfast good.

« Good but only hot water in the shower! »

Overall good, but shower only had hot water!! Impossible to shower properly. It is the third time this happens at this hotel. When I spoke about this at checkout the attendant simply said ok and did nothing.
