Again very pleasant stay for the third year in a row. The Brand name was changed to Sofitel however beside the name nothing changed. Looks like the hotel caters now more on large travel groups. Taking a away a bit the more personal touch the hotel had before.

The experience was overall very good. However, I was confused that by using points to pay for some of my lodging I would be charged IVA (normally not charged to foreigners). This didn't seem logical to me, so I agreed at check in to apply the points to non-lodging charges. This was not done at check out, so the bill had to be completely redone and the IVA removed from my charges.

It was ok. I think the service overall could improve. The attention of the waiters in the dining room/bar could be better. Also the concierge/receptionist attention to the guest.

Maybe it's a cultural thing, but this is the worst experience I ever had with all the hotels I stayed in all over the world. The customer service seems to regidly follow the company policy rather than the customer's need.

I enjoyed almost everything about my stay. The only quibble I have, and it is quite common with a lot of hotels, is that the breakfast coffee/tea-cups had a very strong dishwasher detergent smell and taste. This is a small matter but a noticeable one. But not a big issue overall!
