« it was a little under my expectations, comparing with I had when I first saw website images. »

Check in and check out: amazing Room: very comfortable Bathroom: this was the great problem; after taking a wash, the water run outside the glass barrier, making the ground wet and dangerous. The water at the sink smelt not good as well. Breakfast: awesome

We spent our wedding night. The service is excellent, we felt great and brunch is extraordinary. The only thing is that I choose the hotel because of the garden to take pictures, but nobody told me that it was being reformed. So, I had to take al the pictures in the lobby (which is beautiful, but it is not the same!).

« Great location, variable service, average hard product »

Being a spoilt Accor Platinum member, used to Asian hospitality I was dissatisfied with Brick hotel BA. Good location, nice interior design however service (inline with whole of Argentina) was variable, most of the time poor. Nina at the reception did a great job, but the service in the restaurant is “ignorante” to say the least. Loads of staff but busy with other things than their job. Most can be solved with improved routing. All staff seems busy pretending doing nothing and putting on a show. Same at gym, boy is either gone or busy reading a book on football. Strong recommendation to differentiate brick hotel through service which is an unexplored territory in Argentina.

Excellent building, atmosphere and accommodation. Great concierge service. Some improvements possible though: - two separate desks very far from each other at reception, which requires guests to make a bet (behind which desk should I queue?) and results in longer waiting times; dedicated Le Club Accor Hôtels customers desk (Platinum and so on) does not seem to be of any help as anybody queues there; - check-in procedure with copying passports (staff has to go an office behind counter), etc. takes too much time; - no guest directory in the room; how should I know about restaurant hours, spa opening times, etc. ? - no bathroom scale in room 1409, but one (not working!) in room 1408; - a Bose station in room 1408, but a basic Sony radio alarm clock in room 1409; - none of these clocks was on time!; - bath drain was clogged in room 1409 (had to call maintenance to fix it); - we experienced long waiting times at restaurant, we even found restaurant closed at 6h35 am when coming for breakfast! ; front desk staff came to open it...; I had to wait 30minutes to get the Benedict eggs I had ordered (that is much too long); meanwhile staff (Cecilia, Solange) were nowhere to be seen, seemed to chat with each other and eating stuff in the bar area instead of taking care of guests; - turndown service was not provided some evenings, or provided inconsistently (bathroom not always cleaned up, towels not replaced on some day but replaced on another).

An excellent hotel situated right in city centre easy access to tourist sites and commercial areas. Nice staff, good service, excellent breakfast and good spacious rooms. Did not use the dining room, good local restaurants within easy walking distance Cosy smallish bar serving all normal drinks Would return to this hotel next time in Buenos Aires
