The persons who work in the hotel are very sympathic, but thw hotel is very dysordely. I had problem with the kitchen in 3 different situations in 5 days. The Gym is bad cared and need a urgent manutencion

I stayed for just one night. When I arrived I had lunch before going to my ap. The food had nothing so especial considering the price. I've stayed in other hotels in Salvador where the restaurant had better food taste and better price. The room was perfect clean and organized, also there were no noises from the corridor or outside to interrupt my work or sleep. I didn't use the internet once my cell phone conection was better than the hotel's.

Even without water to wash your hands, brush your teeth or take a shower the hotel charged like the entire service was provided. It was requested that it should not be charged because of the lack of service, but the recepcionist said that it should be charged anyway

It was my second hosting time at Mercury Pituba. I highlighted the localization in Salvador city, breakfast at hotel and rooms (big and comfortable). Negative points, I highlighted the prices of drinks like water (R$6,00) and beer (R$18,00).

Not much apart from location in the city center

This hotel lacks in ALL aspects except for location: 1. Reception is unwelcoming/ poorly designed. It’s not a good choice to have a standing freezer, corner-bar style, stocked up with beers at the entrance. Think style. If a guest wants a beer they know where the bar is. 2. Rooms are outdated. The air conditioning did not work in two of our three rooms. The wi-fi stopped working in the middle of our stay (we were offered to switch floors but felt it would be difficult given that two of us were 73 and 75 year-olds who had already unpacked their stuff, this being the second day of our stay). The duvet in my room had not been washed. I had to change rooms on the second night as what looked like an air conditioning power generator in the balcony started to go off incredibly loud. Room service for 4 people took two hours to deliver in the room. 3. Breakfast was poor.

Although I informed my email address when I checked in (was informed it was not necessary to inform Accor number) the points were never included. Had to call the hotel several times and the systems was always off. No one returns my calls. Very bad experience when compared to other Mercure hotels. Dirty carpet and bed too! The Mercure pituba was very disappointing when compared to other Mercure hotels.

This is my third stay at this property due to convenience to clients. It is an adequate business hotel, with very accommodating staff. Unfortunately, the Internet service is close to unusable. Accor should invest in an improved access point architecture and better connectivity since many customers are business travelers who rely on this.

Efficient, friendly checkin. Even though close to closing for the night the restaurant staff was very accommodating. Very quite, comfortable room. Had a very good night rest. Next day check out and all other services highly recommended.

The hotel is very well located, near major shopping malls, a nice park in the back and close to some very good restaurants. Rooms are large, beds are comfy, and breakfast is very good, always with local food on the menu.
