POSITIVE: Great hotel (room, restaurant, staff), following the Mercure's high standards.NEGATIVE: The location is very strategic (near subway, at the downtown), but this area didn't seem to be safe to walk around at late hours.

The staff made my experience by being very courteous friendly and supportive. In particular Nicole and Daniela who went out of their way for a problem I had with my luggage due to the airline. The foyer and other areas are very nice, the rooms probably need an update

The hotel is in a good location next to Santa Lucia subway and hill. Easy to walk to various tourist areas in Santiago. The room was spacious, breakfast plentiful and the pool side bar was pretty cool too. The only downside was how loud the air conditioning unit was. I had read about this, and it surely was a roar!

I did the reservation in the site of Accor hotels and choose a 2 double bed’s room because we were a family of 4 people. Weirdly, in the step that we provide the informations about the guests, the website only permitted select 2 adults per room. I tought that it was an error and did the reservation anyway. I wrote a message in the reservation explaining that we were 4 instead of 3. I didn’t receive any answer, and in the day that I arrived in the hotel, I was informed that would need to pay extras USD45 per night, that made a extra cost of USD270 in my stay. In short, my dissatisfaction is due to the fact that there was no such information at the time of booking and also that I did not receive a reply advising about this extra cost before my arrival.

Tivemos um imprevisto técnico de acesso a nossa ferramenta de gestão, o que impossibilitou de lhe responder antes. Agora com tudo solucionado estou acompanhando cada feedback que recebemos. Gostaria de lhe pedir desculpas pela falta de esclarecimento quanto as condições de reserva, prévio a sua chegada no hotel, o que nao deveria haver ocorrido. Friendly staff, large bedroom and was cleaned well during my 5 day stay here. However, you couldn’t have the ac/heating unit on whole sleeping as it literally was a roaring sound when active. Breakfast was pleasant with eggs, continental cold meats and fresh fruits.

The reception staff were very helpful and nothing was a problem. A special thanks to Nestor who was very helpful in seeking information to enable us to arrange a day trip out of the city.
