This is one of the worst hotels I have stayed at in Europe. The staff was very nice (helpful, multilingual, friendly), so I do not include them in this very critical review. But the condition of the hotel was just terrible and the entire hotel needs to be renovated. The hotel is basically an Ikea advertisement from the 1990s that has had many, many visitors and no renovation. The disappointment begins before a guest has reached his/her hotel room as the handles on the elevator doors were so worn that the paint covering them had been worn clear off by thousands of other visitors' hands. That's a bit gross. The room itself, while spacious, had the feel of an old office building whose tenants had all moved on and whose owners had decided to turn the tired spaces into a hotel to collect a few more Euros while they waited for new tenants. Without cleaning or painting the place, of course. Slumlord. The actual room was full-on disgusting. The toilet had an unmissable dark brown streak in the toilet bowl, presumably due to rust or bacteria. Much, MUCH worse, one of the chairs in the room had considerable, unmissable "gunk" on the *fabric* seat in the crotch area, where hundreds of previous visitors had presumably sat down naked after showers (or worse, before showers). Seriously, the seat was basically a pair of soiled underwear on four legs. DISGUSTING. The only thing to do was cover the seat with a towel and try not to look. The other chair in the room lacked the gross fabric seat of its neighbor, but was nevertheless frustrating as it was a rocking chair. Normally, I like rocking chairs, but when my only choice is "rocking chair vs. soiled underwear chair", the romance is lost and the rocking chair just begins to feel like something I can't get comfortable in as I attempt to sit at the table in the hotel room. The room also featured a square ottoman, which was tired, threadbare, sagging, and dilapidated. And the phone in the room did not work. I discovered this after my second night in the hotel. I had asked for a wake up call after my first night and was mildly annoyed when that call never came, which led me (presumably incorrectly) to think that the front desk staff had forgotten to make the call. On the morning after my second night, I attempted to call the front desk and only then discovered that the phone did not work at all. I was not expecting luxury, but it is difficult to explain how disappointed I was by this hotel. Seriously, the hotel room had the feel of being surrounded by piles of soiled underwear. I would never stay there again.

Front desk staff was welcoming and competent. Good points: Room was clean and quiet. Bed quality correct. Bad points: A very sad atmosphere overall and in the room (all white and no decoration). The real disappointment was before arriving to the hotel. I had made a reservation and received a confirmation. then I receive another E-mail asking me to check in otherwise the availability of the room couldn't be guaranteed after 14;00. So I was forced to pay the room in advance. I found this pushing to get early payment very annoying and impolite especially for a loyal customer with an accor card.

Hotel should be modernized soon. Room was hot during the night, although I switched off the air conditioner. Not really "stylish" anymore (there was no picture in the room).

« A Pleasant Experience »

The hotel was compact and so is the room. The location is close to Tramlines and hence was not difficult for commuting. The reception staff both day/evening staff were friendly and especially thanks to the women in the day shift(I don't know her name) and she helped with city maps and routes and was very cordial. Thanks to the reception staff.

Everything was great ! But the shower and sink in the bathroom wasn’t good because of the clogged pipe. Also, the day of check-out, we had a problem. In Accor app, after payment I’ve received the copy that our check out is going to be until 23:00 pm. But after at the hotel reception they told us that we have to check out before 12 pm. You need to improve this problem at the Accor app. Thank you!

Was just looking for a reasonable hotel near to my meeting location. Staff were all friendly and breakfast was fine for the price. Only a few very minor glitches: bedside light didn't work and bathroom was a little chilly, but nothing to worry about.

Dear, My name is Max T. I am platinum member of Le Club Hotel and stay at Ibis Styles Brussels Luisa for 2 nights from 29/10 till 31/10 in room 90 Yesterday, 30.10.2018 near 19:00 I asked reception man about lunch box or early breakfast due to early check out. He asked me check out time and I said 5:45AM. Receptionist told me that breakfast starts at 6:30 but for us they will prepare some food. Today morning we get up and go to breakfast at 5:50. All food was served, as usual. When we start eat, man from reception (he was alone at hotel) start screamed at us: “Keep your hands off food”, “You can’t eat this food before 6:30” and just continue screamed at us. I was shocked. I am guest of your hotel, I ordered on reception early breakfast and I need to hear this scandalist and his screaming!!! I told about my reservation for early breakfast on reception evening before, but this man continue scream on us and told that this is not true and he can’t find any notes about it. Even if his colleague forget to take note about breakfast for 5:45, it’s not reason to screaming on hotel guests. I hope that you find solution on this situation after investigation and this person will be punished. Our mood spoiled for the whole day Regards, Max T.

I really like staying in Ibis hotels, because I know it will be clean and good value for the price. The only thing I didn't like this time was that the hair dryer filter was full of dust. Everithing else was great.

« Very nice option not far from the city centre »

This Ibis Styles is located in a very nice neighborhood not to far from the city centre, like 15 minutes walking. The hotel is joyful and clean, all the staff members are really helpful and friendly. Breakfast is a normal Ibis standard one, but everything is fresh and the team in the restaurant is very nice too. Big room with an enormous bed, no usual in an Ibis, very happy about that. Best internet ever. I've been in high standard hotels from Accor before and internet can be a real problem. But not in this Ibis, it works perfectly Price is more than fair and you even have free water and coffe the entire time you're there. Definitely recomend!!!

My room was at the back of the hotel on the 3rd floor- the door from the staircase bangs extremely loudly- you should look at fixing that. The bathroom also needs a makeover- the shower curtain wasn't particularly clean and the tiles in the corner between the shower and the floor have some damage. The hotel's location is good though.

I had higher expectations staying at Ibis Styles. Our room was bare and although it was quite big it felt like a cell. The windows were dirty and in the bathroom the toilet was stained brown and the bath tub had hard soap residue around the drain. Good points: breakfast was adequate and the reception staff were ok.

Good front desk service, good breakfast, room on4th floor was not as good as the other rooms i have stayed at in the same hotel. It looked unkempt, no lift to the floor, i could hear noises all throughout the night, the toilet didn't flush properly and there was a suspicious stain on the carpet. The bathroom also was a little dingy. Not the quality I expect from Ibis.
