The staff make this hotel; they are always warm and friendly, and so helpful (nothing is too much trouble). The rooms are clean and well presented; the beds are always very comfortable. The mediterranean fish stew is delicious!

The staff were as always very friendly and helpful but I stayed in a privilege room which had no coffee maker and no tv controls in it.

Not a very good welcome Staff unresponsive to complaints of loud music in dining and lounge area, as after many mentions of the genre and tone of music it continues to be an issue particularly when one barman is on duty.......

This is a good hotel, decent rooms, friendly staff, ample parking and in a quiet location. However, watch out for the wedding parties. Whilst wedding guests have their own allocated area for a function if it is in the afternoon and then the room needs to be cleared for the evening, they all spill out into the public seating and bar area. By this time some alcohol has been consumed and loud voices, screaming children a packed bar and no spare seats are pretty off putting for guests who are not involved and do not wish to be involved in the wedding. It is also pretty strange for the weeding guests who have to rub shoulder to shoulder with people who dont care about them enjoying their day. Perhaps a small residents only bar somewhere in the hotel would be great for a peaceful drink with no wedding or TV. Indeed when the proceedings resumed and they were meant to go back to the room many were shouting at a football match on the TV. Not exactly relaxing.

Arrived after having booked a Twin Room. It was not a Twin Room. Was told it would be resolved when we left the room as the receptionist did not want to bend over in her skirt whilst we were in the room watching her. Fair point, and honestly made, which I appreciated, so don't take it as a criticism. Anyway, it was resolved quickly and the stay was a very pleasant with no other issues at all. This was our third stay here and will not be our last. Nice hotel at a decent price.

We needed to stay as a family for a family event nearby. So comfortable - staff were so lovely - we ordered some food at the bar - halloumi fries were superb - such comfortable rooms - breakfast great choice - everyone happy - so pleased we stayed!

Hi my partner wanted to treat me to a stay at your hotel as I’ve been in hospital for 4 months so I choose a privilege room but we were disappointed as it stated we would have a jacuzzi but it was just a tiny bath and we both couldn’t fit ! And the complimentary drinks were water I may as well of paid for a standard room as there was no difference?? Very disappointed

« Lovely stay, fabulous housekeeping! »

The housekeeping here is second to none. My room was impeccably cleaned and tidied every day of a four-day stay which made me feel really looked after. Comfy bed, really nice room. One tiny niggle - there are about fifteen WiFi networks and it’s impossible to know which one will work at any given time. I wouldn’t say that I couldn’t get WiFi, just that it could be frustrating trying to navigate it. Since I was on a business stay that was a little frustrating at times. Overall, really good!

I enjoyed my weekend stay at the Hotel, Nice clean spacious room, Good service and a pleasant breakfast. My only complaint is the smoke alarm in the hotel being triggered by the steam from my shower, so having to grab a towel whilst a male manager addressed the 'common issue'; wasn't a good start to the day.

Very easy booking over the phone last minute. Very pleasant staff. Astheticaly pleasing on arrival. The room , very nice decor, good size , good view , very clean, jacuzzi bath was lovely. Great media services and the late breakfast available was delicious. Checkout by 2 also relieved some pressure

After a very busy day and late night i was looking forward to getting into my large cozy bed however it was far from cozy.My room was freezing until the heating kicked in at about 3 AM.The bed sheets are pulled so tight when made i could not pull them over me. The hotel is clean.The staff polite and professional. I arrived for breakfast bar but had no one to serve me from the hot serving dishes i ended up having, 2 over cooked eggs on toast,serving myself what i could find,furthermore i didn't get a coffee or tea because of a queue.The breakfast that i could see other guests eating looked lovely.I stayed at this hotel with family and friends for my daughters marriage party..

A good stay - comfortable clean room and surroundings, the only thing that let this visit down was the disarray in the restaurant and quality of food, no where near as good as what it has been? Change in Chef/management/ and waiters/waitress?

The room was a superior room, no bath robes etc. Restaurant service very poor, waited nearly an hour for my food, the restaurant manager did give me a complimentary drink which on checkout I was going to be charged for until I pointed out it was a complimentary drink due to the inordinate length of time I waited for my meal. Breakfast was shown to table but not offered tea or coffee, attempted to attract staff attention but too busy at lectern gazing at paperwork, No one on reception on checkout, notice said to use phone to get attention but phone was ringing so unable to use. Given the cost of the room the whole experience was shambolic and I certainly would not recommend or wish to stay again
