Parklands Resort Mudgee offers very large, clean, neat rooms. This property is a little older in style set on well maintained landscaped gardens with ample car parking near to your room. Breakfast was adequate. Dinner was enjoyable. At all times staff were helpful and friendly. It will suit singles, couples & families. Only a short drive to Mudgee/Wineries and half hour to Gulgong. Enjoy KODAK

The rooms at the venue are very run down, tired and not clean. House keeping was not good. The property has beautiful gardens. But the venue needs a renovation and to be cleaned. The bathroom had a bad smell. Unfortunately, it was disappointing.

The room we stayed in was large, clean and comfortable. All the staff were very friendly and helpful - I accidently locked myself out of the room and the staff were very helpful and accommodating. The gardens were well kept and very pleasant to view when sitting on the balcony.

Stayed there for 1 night for work, the bedroom are old and the cleanliness of the bathroom questionable. I had rom service , it took 50 minutes to get the food, steak was cold and was more fat then meat... At the check out I notified the chocolate bar I took from the mini bar and paid for it, what a surprise when I checked my bank statement and realised that I have been charged for someone else’ mini bar. Without had a chance the be ask, just being charged and if the story. The ammonunt hasn’t be reimbursed yet, it’s not for the 12.85, but more for the fact that I have been charged without having been asked. The nerroim, food and services weren’t to the my expectations which are pretty fair.

« Poor service from front desk staff »

I booked two rooms and they were at opposite ends of hotel which was inconvenient. Could have had rooms next door to each other had they upgraded one (which I am entitled to as a Platinum member if available) but staff claimed hotel full. There were at least 5 empty rooms immediately surrounding ours, including next door, and seemed like many more empty as well so claims hotel was full suggest at best a major problem with their booking system. Staff were still denying there were vacant rooms in the morning even when it was plainly obvious that plenty were empty.Given recent introduction of Accor status credits which makes it virtually impossible for any domestic tourists to maintain Platinum level I would have expected way better service from the hotel. Also note the hotel bar does not open until 5pm -which was not an issue for us but may be for others. Rooms and venue otherwise good so hopefully by fixing a few of these simple booking and front desk issues a much better level of service can be provided.
