We stayed with the hotel before. It was nice. For this time The check in and check out is swift. Assume we got the room upgraded as FO did not inform us specifically. I guess from the floor and amenities we got in room. Breakfast is great. Anyway, we found the cleaning problem as the glasses in room not been clean properly. There was still lipstick. The problem is the room not entirely made and clean up to the Novotel standard. Other that it was a great stay.

Hotel is good, functional, clean and pleasant. Staff is professional and friendly. The two things I didn't like were: - the fact that at check'in, a preauthorization for the full amount of the stay, plus 50 EUR (I think) is taken. First, I don't recall any other hotel I've stayed in, including other Accor hotels doing this. They do take a small preauthorization to cover potential mini-bar charges. But certainly not the full amount. I've been Accor Gold/Silver customer for 10+ years, without a single payment problem. Asking for full amount preauthorization shows a lack of trust for a very trust worthy customer (which Accor knows as it has all the history of my stays, going back to many years) - the fact that the sauna wasn't working. One of the reasons I like your hotel and come and stay there is the sauna. Disappointing to not be able to use it when I'm there. And interestingly, upon check out on the last day, the employee at reception asks me if I enjoyed the free mini bar that my status grants me. Is that true ? if so why wasn't I told on arrival ? and if not, why is the person saying it. Frustrating experience.

I booked this hotel because it was conveniently located for my business trip. The hotel room was ok, it had everything you might need. It was a bit cold and the heating didn't seem to work, but I was able to have a heater when I asked for one in reception. The personnel was really nice and that is something that I appreciated in all my encounters. I gave a rating of "average" due to the questionable cleanness of the room. The sofa in my room had stains and the floor, had pieces of chocolate from previous occupants. I also felt that from one day to the next of my stay, little effort was done to clean the room. I left it tidy and I came back to it the same way, but my used plates hadn't been removed and the toilet supplies had not been refilled.

Usually good but expectations were not meet during my stay in March

Usually i like to stay in this hotel but during my stay from Match 26th-March 29th I was not satisfied with the hotel and the service. It was not bad but doesn't meet the expectations when taking into consideration the price. - The receptionist was not friendly, did neither speak English or German very well - The room was not so clean as I would expect that in a hotel of such a price range.

We wanted to visit you hotel from 14.04 till 17.04 and I became an offer at the evening, I wanted to make the reservation on the next morning and the price was with around 150 EUR more than in the evening. I did not make it. Ich war sehr enttäuscht....... Die Frau war auch sehr unhöflich.....

Cleaning staff threw away soap that was in use while not replacing it, and just moved dirty cups to the coffee pot area. I'm not concerned over the coffee cup, but it is an example of half-hearted effort. I don't know if this is cultural difference, but not what I was expecting. The bed was definitely not made at least one day, and was shoddily done another time. I just ended up making it before leaving in the morning. I'm curious if this is regional expectations or not, but I was never sure what I was going to find walking into the room and that seems sub-optimal. The fan in the bathroom was always on, and the door didn't seem to shut unless you let it swing close with signifcant force.
