« Nice, clean hotel with friendly personnel. »

Stay was very nice and we got very pleasant service. Points needing attention are towels in rooms, wishing to have separate face towel (specially in case of longer stay) and service on bar, reception personnel are not always available and their level of knowledge is low, for example I adviced how to prepare Campari soda. Anyhow overall experience was positive.

The overall experience was comfortable. The first morning, there was no hot water. The other 2 mornings, the hot water took a long time to start coming out of the faucet and the flow of water was weak.

« Clean hotel, but bad customer service and bed. »

The hotel is very clean and most of the desk staff is nice. The bed is a very thin piece of cot-like material that is horribly uncomfortable. It really hurt my back and aggravated my sciatica. Unacceptable. Additionally, there was thumping noise both nights of my stay that made it impossible to sleep. I put in my ear plugs the first night and it drowned out some of the noise. The second night I called the desk and Danielle answered. I told her about the problem and she was very rude saying that she couldn't do anything if the noise was outside. I told her it wasn't outside as my room faced an empty courtyard and that I couldn't find the source in the building. She basically said, sorry, can't help you. After a few minutes she called back to the room and said she went to my floor and couldn't find the source of the noise. I asked her why she didn't knock on my door and come in my room because then she could have actually heard the noise. After I told her this, she came up to the room and could hear the noise. She said she will check with the room above mine. She never returned nor phoned to tell me anything. The noise never stopped and for the 2nd night in a row, thanks to the noise and the uncomfortable bed.

I have been here several times and always been very happy and satisfied. This time it was in certain points a bad experince. The room 222 was as always very nice and clean with good beds for a god nights sleep. Checkin was a bit particular. the geniun friendliness from previous stays was missing. And I had to pay up front which is not was the rule for me before. Having a pils in the bar after checkin was not so nice either the persons (same as reception) didn't know how to handle the tap so either to little "Schaum" or to much. Breakfast was announced to be improved and changed, but Didnt see any changes although things served was okay as previous times. Checkout was horror, As I had to leave early I like to have my bill eving before as well pay the xtras. After ca 15 minutes the lady gave up and said she will have everything fix for early morning loke 0630. I was at reception before 0600 and had to wait another 15/20 minutes for the bill. Then during the day of checkout I get an e-invoice from the hotel directly and then later another one from the automatic system. Conclusion you need to train your staff better so they can make use of all advantages and good systemin the back up. Another aspect of this hotel is the pricing. I booked my rooms 1st of February 2018 and realize that the officiell price when arriving 3rd of September 2018 for checkin is lower than my discounted price with my accord business plus card. How is this possible? Is this a way to treat a regular Accor Business Plus customer since many years? As a curiosity it happend also last week also in Brussels at Sofitel Louise. Finally a smile to the guests is also very much appriciated espicially when you are smiled upon from the guests.

Clean lobby, room and bathroom. Secure elevator. Some rates include a breakfast which looked to be worth the $10/pp cost. Tram stop about 2 blocks away is convenient to the nearby Augustiner Keller and to Munich Hbf transportation hub. Air conditioning.

Clean lobby, room and bathroom. Bedding was comfortable and room was quiet even though facing the main street. Secure elevator. Lobby bar and a good breakfast offering (extra but worth the additional room rate if wanting a breakfast). Tram transit stop a couple of blocks away, a couple stops up to Augustiner Keller biergarten and a few more stops to Munich Hbf Nord, a significant local transit hub.

« Small, small, not welcoming »

We where a family of three, the room was too small. Ibis gave us the room with accessibility after we asked, but that was still too small from the bed. On top the service had some lacking elements: both rooms we stayed in had too few towels for at least 2 people, in the second night at 1am guests moved in next to us and started rearranging beds between rooms and the reception was not responsive by phone so that we need to go down in person and complaint. Which was only granted with "they just arrived and are such nice people" while prioritizing to give out beer for some soccer fans. Ok, hotel was clean and cheap but we will never stay again.

« We definitely recommend this hotel »

The personnel at the front desk were very professional and helpful at the time of check in and check out. Plus they were very friendly and seemed to be in a good mood. The rooms were clean, and more modern-looking than any other Ibis we have been to. (This last comment also applies to the reception and breakfast areas) The beds were really comfortable which is something we really appreciated. In addition, the area where the hotel is located is nice and quite, and it is easy to reach the city centre and airport by public tranport. Overall, we felt we had made a good choice and that our money was well spent. We would definitely recommend this hotel.
