« Exceptional Service »

From my check in until leaving hotel I received the very best personal attention. I would like to thank Sughanda for my front desk experience and Ganapathy for taking care of my culinary needs. An observation, not a complaint, I find it strange that staff enter room serve ESL times a day for cleaning, top ups, bed turn back etc., yet staff will not enter room with laundry something that would be very useful.

Good room. Food was good. Hotel's location was good and with the ferry service was very close to the beach. There was a taxi stand nearby as well.

« Comforting, relaxing & rejuvenating »

Novotel Goa Resort & Spa greeted us with warmth. While checking in, we were given an upgrade to a premium suite by Suzanne, who was very sweet & accommodating. The suite was top notch! The amenities at the hotel were a class apart too. The swimming pool, and the pool-side bar were a perfect blend for a relaxing evening. The breakfast spread at ‘food exchange’ was mouth-watering and satisfying. We indulged in a foot massage session at the spa, before checking out, and it was the perfect finish to a wonderful stay. All the staff we interacted with were cordial and friendly, just the way it ahould be.

Not value for money . Water boat , floating ball was chargeable . Frequent power interruption .Room service ( food ) was poor.

The rooms were fine. The play area and the pool was nice too. However, the food on all days except breakfast was a big let down. You had chutneys that had gone off and a couple of food items were served during different meals on the same day under the guise of different names. Just not done.

Dear Susan, As you know we’ve just came home from our stay at Novotel Goa, and would like to share some of our comments. On the positive side: - The staff (all of them) at Novotel Goa are the best we have been in contact in any hotel, and we have been travelling quite a bit over the years. They all deserve a pay rise! From the great receptionists, to the big pool man who keeps your favourite chair along the pool for you every day, to lovely James at the bar who is friendly and knows “his cocktails” - he even created one specially for us (we called it Cold Killer), to our great housekeeper (sorry I forgot his name) who kept our room spotless every day, and most remarkable are all the staff at the restaurant - nothing is too difficult for them - When I enquired about the ingredients in what I now know as parathas, the chef Diwan offered us a private cooking course. What a treat! We felt like celebrities!!! Bheem took some photos… Bheem is an excellent in public relation! He cooked a special lunch just for us, before we left to catch our plane home. So, a very big THANK YOU to : Nitin - Diwan - Avtar - Bheem - Ruppesh - Sachin - Rohit and James of course and all the other I didn’t write the names down (sorry). On the negative side, - the sound system around the pool is terrible and needs changing. - a travel desk/display with maps and information would be useful to help us organise our days. - also, as I collect pens from every hotel we visit, I was very disappointed to find only a no-name pencil on the desk in our room, but this is a really minor disappointment compared with all the positive surprises. I booked the suite as i visited goa with my family and from the day first i faced the issue of air conditioner and the bed making noise. Everyday i made the complaint and got the airconditioner repaired not even one single day me n my family slept the whole night peacefully. Hotel staff on my complaint changed my room also on third day but the same condition was with this room ac also. So my overall trip was ruined because of this.

Stayed at the Novotel Goa Resort & Spa from 16/3 to 22/3 and could not be happier with the facilities, food & friendly, helpful staff. Really enjoyed our stay. The location in Candolim is perfect for exploring the beaches in the north as well as Panjim in the south. Well done to the bar staff, restaurant staff, front desk staff and the managent- you have excellent facilities and staff focused on ensuring guests are comfortable and happy!

I stayed with you’ll for a day when I used my free night being an Accor member. One feedback I have is I forgot my accorplus membership kit in the room on the table that had many vouchers still remaining. Not sure how the housekeeping guys did not find it. Very disappointed with you service. If a guest has left some things back it should be the hotels responsibility to call and send it back. I am sure you’ll won’t want me to have the vouchers as they are discount vouchers which would be used by someone else.

Good experience. Staff extremely friendly, courteous and eager to help. Nice, comfortable stay. Hotel staff decorated the Kid’s area with balloons for my son’s birthday. And they celebrated there, which is very much appreciated. However, few minor observations - Mini bar was empty for the first 2 days of our stay. 2 free water bottles were provided however on all days. . These days, most 5 star properties dont charge for water bottles to Room. But we were charged for extra water bottles.

Though there was a misunderstanding at the reservations , the front desk made up for it. The staff is very kind and engaging and wanting to always help. Though the property has shortcomings I think the right boxes have been ticked for a comfortable stay.
