Pleased with accommodation. We did have problems with bi fold door into bathroom - scraping on bathroom floor and sticking. Also shower head kept falling down. Beds really comfortable. TV good. overall quite pleased.

My daughter and I shared a king room with a balcony. We had a great view from our room, which was a treat as we rarely stay in motels. The room was clean and comfortable with plenty of space and we enjoyed the variety of food at the buffet breakfast. We would definitely stay again.

We arrived and were greeted by a friendly staff member. The room was well presented and very quiet. There were facilities such as the Gym and Spa but we didn't get around to using them. The only problem we encountered was getting the gates, to access and depart the parking area, to work. It took several attempts to get the "key" to work. We held up other guests both ways most times. We had filled in the room questionnaire and handed it into the desk before we left. Otherwise, it was a great place to stay.

After a late check in we decided to book our room for a second night before actually seeing the room- once going upstairs through a door that was not locked and could be accessed by anyone at anytime we opened the door to a room unlike the advertised pictures that was extremely outdated and not well cleaned. There was mould in the corners of the bathroom (which days after when management got back to me About my complaints was told it was “just the silicone needing to be replaced”.. yes, which usually happens when it’s mouldy!!), a hole in the carpet, stains on the sheets (which could not be seen by management when brought to their attention because they only looked at the room days after), holes and grubbiness on the curtains (according to management this is counted as “general wear and tear”) a very noisy and very smelly aircon unit, the power points behind the besides couldn’t be used as they were coming off the walls and very dusty! I rung reception straight away to get a refund for the next day but couldn’t ge a refund for the current day as everywhere else was booked out and it was quite late.. the receptionist reluctantly gave me a refund and I told him how disappointed I was with the room and he simply replied “that’s not good” and left it at that! Save yourself the disappointment and book down the road at the Apollo!

Staff were helpful and great to deal with and restaurant food was good and enjoyable. Room was showing its age, bathroom door fell off its hinge. pool not wasn't open due to refurbishment. Would be happy to stay here again.

We stayed at Mecure Charlestown between 2/10 - 4/10 as my daughter was competing in a dance competition nearby. I requested that staff leave a good luck note for her in the room. Upon checking in, the guy on reception greeted my daughter by name and wished her good luck at her competition - this made her day! She couldn't believe that he knew why she was there and that he knew her name :) As requested, a beautiful note was left for her wishing her luck in our room. The rooms were very clean. Service was amazing. Could not be happier with our stay - will definitely return to the hotel next year when we attend the competition. Thankyou Mecure for a wonderful experience.

The desk is always run by accomodating people. Breakfast is always delicious. Having trashy Channel 7 on the dining TV is off-putting. The room we stayed in needs wider curtains, as they let too much light in, and the fire door needs a weatherseal on the bottom.

Having stayed on numerous occasions I have found the motel to be good value and staff exceptionsl particularly in the trdtaraunt, however my daughter and I stayed again recently and booked via the Accor app as we are members no 10 per cent discount as promoted on check out and paid a premium as it was a long weekend. Upon arrival I note there is a laminated sign on front desk informing guests that the pool is under refurbishment ( this should be on website not advertised at front desk) ! On our second stay on the same weekend we arrived late and were told only room service was available as it was Sunday and restarting was not open ( in website it states open 7 days ) Happy to take the time to supply this feedback and would appreciate your thoughts on the above comments.
