Nice rooms and beautiful garden and pool, good restaurants and room service. However, not all rooms are cleaned correctly, even a suit has stains on the carpet. Houskeeping is generally ok, but night service is not systematicall. The choice of the hotel based on security requirements of the company. May not come here next time

« I enjoyed my stay at Sofitel Abidjan, but I think the hotel needs urgent renovation and additional care at the level of catering. »

I like Sofitel Abidjan and I have been there many times. The dinning room at the tower building is not working and we need to go to the other side of the hotel to have breakfast which is not particularly pleasant. I have noticed that there are a large number of ladies at the bar approaching the guests - it is somehow strange that the management of the hotel does nothing ...

« Facility quality declining; several difficulties with service and staff performance »

I am a Sofitel Loyalist for several years now and stay several times a year in Abidjan. Most recently, I hosted a 3 day conference at the hotel in Abidjan for some 37 persons over a period of 3 days / during a stay of 10 days. Certain of your staff there (Junior , Elvis, and Stephan) are absolutely marvelous and I have known them for the past 3 years -- they are very welcoming and solve problems; the security staff, however, caused a very unpleasant scene one evening that was truly unreasonable and embarrassing. Others of the staff were at times distracted and indifferent; and in one notable instance conducted a very vociferous argument between themselves in front of me while I waited for assistance. Errors were made on my bill at check-out that subsequently cost me international transaction fees when corrected by your staff. There was some new difficulty each day. These, plus the shabby quality of the carpet, baseboards, and walls in my room - which reflects uncleanliness and decline, has caused me to decide to stay elsewhere in the future. If you would like to know in detail what has caused such disappointment, please feel free to contact me at +1…. I am bombarded by surveys from companies to which I am loyal and after complying with several, I have the distinct impression that my taking the care and time to respond results in nothing.

« Overall, I had a great experience over the course of 22 nights! »

I thoroughly enjoyed my first experience with the Sofitel brand. The staff was friendly, respectful, and amenable to all of my requests. I did not like the original room assigned, and the managers went above and beyond to find a room that met my standards. Additionally, a few times room service made a mistake with my order. Each time I received an apology either by phone or in person. I really appreciate the attention to detail and customer satisfaction.

« I was treated very badly »

On the third day of my stay at your hotel, the security guard refused to let me in as I had some snacks in my bag. Over that we have been bringing food to our rooms in the previous two nights, that day Security said that the management of the hotel has change the policy and no outside food is allowed don’t recall the head of security to explain to us and she said that this new policy Is because of some feedback that they got from some client. I have nothing to do with your clients complains and I should not be standing on the hotel door for 15 minutes trying to convince your staff to let me in. It was very embarrassing as other people were going in and out watching us asking the security to let us in. Another thing that I want to express my dissatisfaction about is the fact that you have upgraded both of my colleagues and you left me in the same room, which was actually really not up to my expectations as it was dirty.I actually had more time to come and complain about this Because I was very busy with work.

Beautiful hotel, great pool and views. However, my room had a musty smell and seemed rather worn out (carpet stains) although the bed and linens were great. Staff were always solicitous but the concierge had a hard time completing the relatively simple task of holding a package that had been left for me. Would appreciate a more casual dining option.

Rooms we nice , but all others services from Hotel staff was very poor. from the time you walk in . service desk was very bad, house keeping would always forget something from coffee to bath towels, every day was something. room service was hot and cold. somedays was good and somedays bad. the only thing was always correct was the food.

Overall, excellent experience: - Very professional staff (reception, reservation and Club Accor desk) - Very nice and clean room (good performance of the housekeeping staff); unfortunately the evening turndown service (preparation of the bed and chocolate on the pillow) stopped after two nights - Nice bar (the Link Bar in the lobby) and restaurant (la Brasserie) with very good service.
