Novotel Cha-am Hua- Hin is one of my favorite hotel so i decide to spend my birthday there, I did not get room upgrade which i understand as hotel are fully booked, at least i got birthday cake in the room as i request.Check in is fine but check out take quite some times - not sure why there is no key drop box as usual.Around 4-4.30pm, Baggage boy get in the room in order to out the baggage which is not belong to us. My friend was shocked and try to shut the door real fast and say wrong room ! Imagine i try to get on the life in the evening with group tours around 100-150 people - wait in line for 20 mins - i guess this is nightmare.. The rest is ok

This hotel is located next to the beach and has a big swimming pool with slider. All the room facing tothe ocean. ( ocean view) All staffs is very very service mind and take care more than expectation. We will be back again soon.

The staffs were really attentive and courteous. Their service was exceptional. Unfortunately we experienced the following incidents during our recent visit. -No bathrobe provided in the closet -Leaking problem with bidet spray -Lots of cracks on the surface of the floor tile in the swimming pool

« Always Changing »

This is our third stay (10 days this time) at this location and everytime we go back something has changed for the better. Management talk to you during your stay and ask for your opinion as well as look at the guest reviews, then change things to improve you holiday experience. I was quite impressed to see the General Manager and other area Managers clearing tables when that Saturday morning mad 30 minutes at breakfast happens. I must mention Pui the Front Desk Manager for the professional standard and assistance provided. As in all locations there are always some small issues. Pui assisted immediately in rectifying the issue and followed up the next day on her day off to ensure everything was rectified, Thank You. Can not forget a mention to Bunty, if your stayed at the Novotel you will know who Bunty is, Thanks for the daily weather update, local information and day to day banter.

« Everything a guest would want during their stay. »

Your hotel has everything I expected and more. I did notice on the first day, the shower stall did not have a mat, until I requested it (very dangerous). Also when I did the breakfast buffet. without my reading glasses, I could not read the little descriptions on each dish, thus holding up the line. Also in the room, there was no information as to when "happy hour" began and where it was! Overall, we loved your hotel.

The hotel offers variety of activities to keep my kid busy all day. He enjoyed kids world and swimming, thanks to slider at the pool. The room gives spectacular sea view however, requires maintenance. My kid stumble caused from torn apart wooden floor in our room. The lift also requires upgrade, it should be able to carry more people and faster. The breakfast is good, offer variety of food but the quality still have more room to improve. I only disappointed about the omelette which does not look or taste like one but egg benedict do make me feel better. I was expected a salami in cold cut corner but there was none. There was no other soup apart from miso soup, should have corn, mushroom or pumpkin soup for kids as it offer a better nutrition. Overall, although not to say perfect but acceptable.

First,i’d like to say thank you again to the reservation team and your hotel for letting us postpone our date. And also,helping us warm our frozen baby food.This trip was urgent trip for our family. But i have to say that overall experience wasnt that good. The day before CI,i called and asked if i could store my frozen baby food and could the hotel stream it for me. The answer was yes. So when i checked in,the lady at the reception told me to go to the coffee shop next to the reception. I askedthem,they said they could keep it but they did not have microwave to warm it anymore. So i had to go back to reception and i met one lady in black suit,explained it again then she escorted me to concierge so my problem was solved. I had to say the way your staff at the coffee shop reacted,it was like ‘im sorry! I cant help you’ attitude. We came back to the hotel around 2 and it took quite a bit to check in (already registered in the morning) as receptionist couldnt find us at first ( we booked 4rooms) we only got 3 rooms at that time and the last suite room which we needed it the most was ready around 3.30. In the evening, we were at the beach and it was time to ask the hotel to warm my food. I tried to look for staff but noone was there but on my way back i met one,i asked for the house phone,he said i had to go to kids club to use one or walk all the way back to the reception. So i decided to use my phone instead. It made no sense at all. I talked to the reception and again i had to explain it all over again but was easier this time. It’s like they dont pass any information at all. Luckily, the one in the afternoon was good,she knew that she had to ask room service to do this as i asked her to stream it not put it in microwave. And she prolly passed on my information cuz they knew what to do the next morning. The CO day, my sister asked to check out at 2 they said they could give us 2 rooms (1602,1605). I was out with my husband so couldnt make it at noon. I called and asked to leave at 1pm, they said ok. So when i arrived at the hotel around noonish, i moved all my bags to my sister’s room and went down to the pool. When we went back to the room,1602 room key ( asked for CO at2pm) couldnt open the door. My sister called they said because 1605 and 1614 dint go down to check out. My thought was why they dint send housekeeper to check 1605,1614 but when my sister’s back. She said they told her that she had to update all the keys if she asked for late CO. But nobody told us that. The other problems were -elevator was so old that one side, the down button dint work. -1605 door dint work properly. -kids club looked old and dirty. -nobody told us where the breakfast and wifi p/w I’m writing this just to share my opinion not asking for any complimentary. I also used to work in hotel business in bkk and the states. I always stay at sheraton or hyatt when i come tochuahin so i will not complain much about facility because you get what you pay for but hospitality is the other way. Your staff need to be more alert. Thank you very much for your time.

Wait too long for Shuttle bus service and the room is obsolete and lack of communication among restaurant staff and Front desk as I was being told there is buffet dinner available but turn out there is nothing. However,Excellent concierge service with helpful attitude.
