I felt welcomed and I was very comfortable. The housekeeping was most discreet and my room was always neat and tidy when I got”home”. The reception staff were always friendly and happy.

« Kind staff and beautiful view »

Loved the view , there was not much room for closet or storing bag away but not bad. The sheets had some stains on them which were not pleasant to see. The tv would constantly turn on at night we had to close the switch inside so it would stop. Bed lights were not working when we arrived but were fixed later on. The bathroom does not seem to have an extractor fan? We were not sure if this was only this room or if the fan is silent, but having a fan is good for drowning out toilet sounds.

I only stayed for one night in-between flights - room was comfortable, breakfast very nice. I had a corner room facing the main street so got some early morning street noise waking me up. Other than that, looks like a nice, central hotel to stay and explore Adelaide.

« The hotel is ok, but not for a long stay »

I spent three weeks in the Ibis Adelaide and it seem to me this hotel is not intended for a long stay. How else would you explain lack of closet/shelves? 5+ coat hangers and that is it? So that was quite an issue when you have 3 weeks worth of wardrobe and things. The feel of my room was that it was an office with a bed; the bed was comfortable and that was the biggest plus. The room is charactless and not inviting but it was clean. The bathroom is also clean but there is mold in the shower which should be attended to. The breakfast buffet was ok, but the selection grew old after a few days, with only one or two thing changing on the menu. You get sick of it quite fast. As an international hotel you should enable payment with more type of cards, none of mine (3) went through when checking out and that was inconvenient and frustrating. Please make sure the POS machines are versatile, getting that much cash from an ATM is not a solution. The staff is very prefessional and friendly. The gym needs some maitenence, the equipment is not in the best state, after one try I didn't use it at all.

As General Manager of ibis Adelaide, I was saddened to read your feedback as it appears you did not fully enjoy your stay with us. Our rooms are indeed compact and do not have lots of storage space. As a long-stay guest I understand it would have caused some discomfort and for that I sincerely apologise. It is unusual that there were problems with payment upon your check out as we can see that we successfully used your Diners card three times throughout the stay (there is a note here that the card had a daily limit, therefore Reception team took $1,000 payment a few times throughout the three weeks stay) and it went through successfully. I am really not sure why the same credit card would not go through on check out. Please accept our sincere apologies for the inconvenience caused. « Comfortable Bed, Good bathroom but extreme trouble opening door with access card. »

Went very well except for door but had muckup with being double charged for breakfasts. Most hotels I have stayed in mark you off on a pre-written slip issued to the restaurant or provide you with a breakfast voucher when you prepay breakfasts but in this case the lady in the restaurant asked us to fill in a breakfast slip which then caused breakfast to be charged twice. We enrolled for the special $18 breakfast on arrival and were charged in our accommodation rate.

Everything I needed from a short stay and breakfast for a dollar was a great bonus. Breakfast coffee from buffet was not good and for $20 parking there could’ve been a valet. I did like my free apple.
