« happy and friendly staff that make you feel welcome. »

i received a call on the day off my stay to make sure that i was still staying and to see if the staff could do anything for me. when we arrived we were made to feel welcome and the counter staff showed us where we can have our meals and where we can use our members discount. we received welcome drinks. when we got to our room we had a card waiting for us and we were picked as the guest of the day and had some chocolates. the staff also gave us a room upgrade. this made us feel most welcome and we enjoyed our stay.

« Relaxing leisure stay »

Great location a little out of the central Perth area but still super accessible by yellow CAT route. Lots of walks, can hire a bike and lots of restaurants and bars in the area too. Very chill and cool area of town. Would definitely love to come back to this area. The river view studio was great for people watching below and had all the amenities I needed, the room is only serviced every three days but that suited me fine. Couldn't fault anything and really enjoyed my stay, just wish it was warmer so I could've used the pool but maybe next time!

We love staying at The Sebel. It is easy, easy, easy. Great locations, friendly staff and great rooms. The location at East Perth is complimented with bars and restaurants along the water to spend your time chatting and enjoying the culinary delights. The staff are very helpful and considerate, even before we arrived they called to alert us to a vacant parking spot that they could hold for us, a real benefit in the city. The hotel, from the time you walk in to the time you leave has always been pristine, comfortable and oh so relaxing.

« Nice hotel, disappointed in the service and how incredibly noisy it was »

We were offered a ‘room upgrade’ to a fiver view but failed to be mentioned we would be expecting increbly loud noise from the restaurants below until 11pm. We were travelling with a baby and a toddler so I fail to understand how this upgrade was any better for us - surely the noice level wasn’t a surprise for the staff. I complained after 8pm and was offered a mere apology and offer to change rooms to our original room but that wasn’t really an option with two sleepy kids and two suitcases worth of belonging scattered through apartment by then. This was meant to be a nice relaxing getaway but I felt worse than sleeping at home, disappointed for spending $315 I should of just stayed at the Crown and paid the extra money for five star service.

All staff were engaging, helpful and very pleasant. The room was comfortable and this was a new location, which was close enough to the city but offered some quietness. We enjoyed the pool area. The only concern we had was that the room was not serviced daily and for this reason we wouldn't stay here again. We were unaware of this at the time of booking and had we know this we wouldn't have booked here. It was explained on checkin and we both were a taken back. We did receive an email (day after our arrival) asking if we wanted anything to get in touch. While this was a good gesture, it felt exactly like that a gesture. We asked for our room to have bins emptied and towels refreshed, which was done. For us, even more so, when on a business trip of 2 or more days in one room accommodation we want to be looked after, by that I mean having the bed made, bins emptied (particular as we had newspapers filling all bills) and the bathroom tidied and replenished. While we are happy to re-use towels for 2 days this is not always possible, with work all day and then have a business meeting with or after dinner we shower twice a day and so like towels replenished daily as they are usually still wet from a morning shower. We pack as light as possible (often only carry-on) so use general toiletries supplied ie soap, shower gel shampoo and conditioner etc which we ran out of, luckily I asked a staff member and she gave us an extra shower gel.
