« Great view, Great Room & Great Location »

Hotel was in a Perfect location to enjoy beautiful downtown Melbourne. It is within walking distance to all the main attractions. Spacious Clean rooms with a great view & nice breakfast. Did the Yarra valley day trip with Viator and had to be picked up at travelodge up the street ...that was the only negative. Would stay their again without hesitation. Happy travels

It was good however there was a large number of black hairs on the bathroom floor when I arrived. I called reception at the time and asked them to ensure they were cleaned by the following day - but they weren't. I couldn't be bother asking again. I have blonde hair so I know they weren't mine! The location was great and would consider staying again because of that. I come to Melb regularly so possibly a good option for me

« Room and stay were great but special request a major disappointment! »

The room and general experience of our stay was excellent as I would expect from an Accor hotel but I was extremely disappointed by a special request that I made! To give some background! I had travelled from Perth the first day I arrived in Melbourne, I had been fishing in Perth and had some fresh caught lobster and fish. the day before I travelled to Melbourne I called the Hotel and asked if it would be possible to place the fish in the freezer for my stay. If I could not do this I would not have brought it to Melbourne! On my arrival in Melbourne I again asked if it would be ok to put my package in the freezer (I had purchased an ice pack and flexible esky in Perth to carry it in). Yes that would be ok. I handed over the freezer pack and seafood fully confident that when I left all would be good! Monday (3 days after arriving) as I checked out I asked for my freezer items, as I walked out to my car with the pack I realized that the bag was not cold, upon checking inside nothing was frozen! I am not sure where the pack had been but it was definitely not in the freezer as requested! If I thought it was not possible to place these items in the freezer I would not have brought them from Perth! The thing that annoys me the most it the utter waste! If it had not been possible to place them in the freezer I would not have brought it with me! That is why I called ahead to see if it was possible. The hotel and stay were great but this whole experience has left me very disappointed!

We had a quick weekend in the city - The Accommodation was first class and we were made to feel welcome even by the permanent residents of the building which was nice. The kids loved the TV in their rooms and now it is on their wish list. We love the central location and will definitely be back.

« Definitely one of the best locations In Melbourne »

My experience I would say would be the best location for what I wanna do when I stay in Melbourne it is close to all trams and trains the room was exactly what I was expecting my recommendations would be at least free coffee The restaurant needs to be updated with food and breakfast menu as there was no cereal for the kids no sausages or Fried eggs and dinner no gravy to go on my steak .

Lovely views! We came here for our wedding night, was great to sit and have a glass of wine on the balcony. Probably the main issues were that the phones for room service didn't seem to work, and there was no fan in the bathroom. Apart from that, it's a lovely room!

This was the first time staying here and overall the Hotel and Staff were great, The room was large, clean and very comfortable. The majority of staff were very friendly, helpful and always offering to do more than expected. I was very impressed with my stay until on the day I was getting ready to leave, I went to take a shower and just as I was entering the bathroom I heard a knock and before I could even say anything the staff member just entered my room. I quickly told them to come back later. and the second time they just entered with even knocking. Its a shame that this intrusion negatively marked what would have otherwise been a great weekend.

My encounters with staff at check-in and check-out were absolutely fantastic. My apartment was comfortable and had an amazing view. There's only one item that detracted from the stay and that is charging for "basic" speed Wi-Fi. I can understand charging for "premium" high speed internet but at AU$10 per day for basic service it was cheaper for me to use my international data plan!

Every time we come...we feel like we are”coming home”! When we arrive they say “welcome home” with a big smile. Anything we need, like more coffee pods , laundry detergent, hangers, etc, they arrange immediately. There’s always a card to express their appreciation for our return. We always choose river views and have been in both one bedroom suite and three bedroom on the top floor ...fabulous! The view doesn’t quit! We love it and we’re already planning for our return next year! We are from Michigan, USA.
